Maybe a time limit for duplicates? I think it also depends on the deal posted. Might need to think about it a bit more.

Duplicates seem to be useful for people who weren't members when the offer was last mentioned. I guess you wouldn't want too many duplicates of the same offer, but, would it be easy to implement some sort of duplicate function, where once you (or a moderator) determine an offer really is a duplicate, it could be flagged as such in the short and long descriptions? Searches too, could then have the option of including or excluding duplicates.
Just an idea.
