I want to make use of the Good Guys eBay sale.
I want a quality Air Conditioner that will cool my small/medium sized bedroom.
These two are very cheap:
I'm not sure which would be best! Or what the difference is! Maybe it's worth paying more and getting something like this?

Fujitsu units are really good. If it's fpr yourself, get that. If it's for a rental and you aren't sure how good or bad the tenant will be, then get a budget model which will be the Kelvinator
Fujitsu or mistubishi all the way. Cant beat these rock solid brand
I bought a window/wall unit from them a couple months ago (kwh15CME). Installed it myself and just goes into the power point for a semi-permenant solution. Got it for $320 on an ebay sale. Didnt come with remote but i have a powerpoint time that i used and it works fine.
It works well and better than the portable air con unit i was using before. A lot quieter and works a lot better too.
Installation was fairly easy if you have the right tools, but also depends on your window space. I am renting so had to make brackets to rest against the window sill to secure properly. If you own your place and happy to drill into the window sill it would be a lot easier to install and only take about an hour.
edit: my bad looks like the unit i got isnt available in this sale. They have this one available, which i would probably reccomend anyways if you have a small to medium sized room.

From my own experience and online reviews stay away from kelvinator. Get the fujitsu. Id only also buy yourself if you are sure you can find a good installer, as most reputable installers strictly supply and install and provide installation warranty up to 5 years.
