Thanks @DLKWBR, I missed the set on the clearance D6038MD but bought the factory 2nd and hope that I get a good one. Think there was 3 left at 5am when I finally stopped procrastinating over it.

    • More stock now… of both.

      • Pm sent

      • Thanks ended up buying the clearance one as well and had to do a last minute cancellation job for the seconds one I bought initially. customer service have handled my cancellation quite well so far. Just waiting on my refund to finalise. I do apologise for that but in reality it all your fault rep! :)
Next step is what to do when the oven arrives! Can delonghi organise people to install it or can anyone recommend a good electrician on here who could?

  • All are sold out. Any chance more stock coming online today or should this post be marked ‘out of stock’?

    • +1

      Hi,

There might be a few pcs left when stock updates 3am but if it says out of stock tomorrow then that will be most likely it for that model…

Will know better when I get into work tomorrow.

  • Any chance there will be more ovens for Black Friday? I missed the DE906GWF :(

    • Don’t think so, this was the big oven sale, let me see what’s what tomorrow when I’m back in the office.

  • Hi Delonghi Rep. I did what you said and rang the 1800 number and spoke to Fernando this morning and he said my order has not gone through. He said it can appear on the statement as it did with mine but will be reversed. How unusual to think I made a purchase but there is no order. I’ve never experienced this before seeing a company take money out of my account but reverse it and not place an order. It seems odd. The clearance stock was available when I completed my purchase and now it’s not available. I mentioned you to Fernando and he said he doesn’t know anything about a Delonghi rep or Oz Bargain. He didn’t even check stock or try and resolve the problem with me. He just said ring back if my money isn’t reversed in a few days. Not very happy because he said there were 18 orders placed Saturday for the oven but mine had not gone through. Are you able to help any further?

    Thanks. Karol

    • Leave it with me… I will PM you.

      • Thanks that’s would be great

  • I am checking on stock today and will update as I hope to have some more units available, I will keep you posted.

  • Is replacing an existing electric oven a diy job or do you need an electrician ?

    • Technically in Australia you SHOULD use a sparky for just about everything (literally silly stuff like just moving an electrical cable in my roof space a few cm by rule I should use one…how silly is that) but as with most things IF you've some basic technical skills and common sense you can quite easily do it (very easy rewiring job simply replacing like for like) BUT you have to be aware it may void the warranty and potential insurance issues IF your work contributed to a problem e.g house fire.

Therefore most folks will say just use a sparky. So it's a caveat emptor jobbie but the skill/difficulty level in 99% of jobs won't be hard.

  • Hi Everyone,

I have allocated the last stock I could find for the double oven which was sold out… there are a few pcs left and its available to buy online NOW…

Once its gone that's it, I cannot get any more stock.

    Thanks for everyone's patience :)

    • So has my order been placed? Thanks. Karol

    • Make sure to refresh your browser.

  • Keep on getting internal server error

    • We are working on resolving the issue, it should be fixed very soon… there is high demand, sorry.

I bought a Delonghi oven, cooktop and dishwasher 2 years ago to replace some 10 years old SMEG appliances and very happy with it so far. Apparently SMEG is supposed to be the top of range but the middle basket in the dishwasher broke and made the whole dishwasher unusable (replacement cost for a new basket would have been $250…). The SMEG oven had a short circuit and would put the whole house in the dark when turned on. So I'll never buy SMEG again. An oven is an oven. People should care more about cost and design than brand since all brands might have issues at some stage.

    Thanks Op!

Is it possible for dispatch today for delivery tomorrow?

Im 10 minutes from your DC. Order# D10063312

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi, I am tempted to buy double oven DE6038MD to replace my old Westinghouse Silhouette Series Model POD646. Anyway, know if the size will fit? I don't have the Westinghouse manual so dont know the size. Also where can I source the installer to remove and install the oven? Thanks.

  • Received my DE6038MD, damn the delivery van came all the way out to my place with just it in the back - HUGE box. Can't begin to imagine te freight cost on it - much thanks to Delonghi - look forward to installing it. :-)

    • Hi Nikko, how huge is huge? I'm just trying to figure out if it will fit up the staircase with the box. Is it much bigger than the oven itself? How heavy is it? My tracking notes says it's an 118kg parcel!

      • Hi LGW,

Well ask pleasantly and thee shall be rewarded. I've measured and it's 70 x 67 x 106 cm - thats the external box. Like you I freaked out when I saw the Courier's listed weight - thinking WTF!!!! But thats clearly the cubic weight or similar (you know how couriers will charge by either the actual weight or the volume depending on whats higher).

The ACTUAL weight is around 65kg……pro-tip to make it easier to take up those stairs, open the box and on top there should be a rectangular box of baking trays, racks etc - take that OUT - saves you around 5-7kg in weight). It's well packaged inside so bend those knees and you and a friend or two will have it up easily enough……if you have lifting straps they might be a good idea as it's more cumbersome than heavy.

        Hope that helps, cheers, Nick

        • Thanks Nick, I actually won't be at home and only my 83yr old mum will be. I called up customer service and requested they bring it up to the first floor for her. I've got a trolley in preparation for them. Hopefully they will do it! The dimensions really help cheers. You've actually helped me out for another deal on here before… Quality axes fame, haha so thanks again. Or maybe I shouldnt thank you as now you have influenced me to buy a huge box which will sit in my kitchen for God knows how long and an axe that I still haven't properly used but still sand, seal and sharpen on a routine basis! :)

        • @LGW: Ah cool - well FWIW I do the same with my axes - though in fairness I've used most of them pretty regularly. Cheers for the feedback and hope the oven goes well for you. Great find by the OP.

  • My DE60PSC Oven arrived today… box a bit beaten up (Factory 2nd), but the oven looks pretty much perfect from what I can see!

Install next - any recommendations for oven installers in Brisbane?

Has anyone else had problems with theirs being delivered? Delivery was on Thursday but didn’t come. Rang them a couple of times and they said it will be delivered on Monday. Still didn’t come and they said I had to call Delonghi. Delonghi followed up with them and they don’t know where my oven is. They have lost it. So now I wait while they try to find it. Hoping it is in good condition when it arrives. It’s new not a seconds model so now I’m a bit worried. Is it just mine or have others had them lost too?

    • +1

Yesssss, I have the EXACT issue (minutes the Thursday bit) my tracking with Allied express has it sitting in the port Melbourne depot for the past few days.

  • +1

Shipping the oven I bought with this deal via Allied Express has been a nightmare so far. They've lodged 2 days for supposed shipping date. Got a 'Non Del' first day with no notification. Great as I took the day off work to be there for it. (FFS). Another 'Non Del' today for no reason.

Now they've extended their delivery date to tomorrow (rather than today) for no reason but just done it.

Both times only way I've been informed is by me chasing them via email. Tracking is pathetic.

My wife is home today and tomorrow so it's a joke that they've not bothered to deliver, even though their notifications to me have said COB yesterday, today, and now tomorrow.

Delonghi - I STRONGLY SUGGEST you don't use those clowns for shipping. Compared to AppliancesOnline 3 weeks ago where I bought a dishwasher at 9:30pm and it was delivered 7:30am the next day… well… what do you think?

    • +1

Not sure who's to blame but I'd agree, totally unacceptable. When I requested whether a delivery widow was possible allied said window is 9-5 lol and it would be delivered Monday. They couldn't even deliver it to a window that size AND no communication whatsoever to say they won't make it. People adjust their schedules to accommodate what is already a ridiculously sized window to find out all for nothing

  • Hi rep, it has become obvious that some of us are having issues with the delivery of items purchased online, could you please investigate and let us all know what the problem is as I personally have not had any explanation what the reason is or even anyone contact me to tell me my purchase might be delayed.
    Thanks

  • Alliedexpress is absolutely hopeless, my order got to their depot on the 9/11/2017 and still waiting for it to be delivered. Their website says expected delivery is 13/11/2017. It is the 15th today.

    • Similar story with me picked up on the 8/ 11 estimate delivery due 9/11 been at the depot since 10/11. I received an email finally from them today saying it'll be delivered by COB tomorrow. FINGERS CROSSED

  • @DLKWBR could you please care to contact Allied Express for a bunch of us? They're totally dropping the ball here…
Now when I lodge an enquiry it says they attempted delivery and carded me - which is complete bullsh!t, whilst also saying it's on board for delivery 'today' whilst also saying delivery was to occur on the 9th, then the 13th… (SMS on my phone to confirm this also).

    https://ibb.co/cuRnNm

    • Nope, no delivery today either. What the hell are they doing?

      • +1

Now my tracking says I've been carded. Well I hate to tell you Allied, I have no card in the mailbox, and my wife was home all day for the last 2 days with our newborn, sowhat the hell is going on.

        • This is all very strange. I have called delonghi customer service twice, sent a message through their website and pm'd the rep here and they haven't even attempted to contact me to explain the situation or even to say they are still trying to work it out. It is not acceptable for a company of their size and status to simply ignore a customer and I'm assuming think it's ok as it out of their hands now.
Well allied have said it will be delivered today so let's see. I'll report back.

        • +1

          @LGW:

Get onto alliedexpress, they hold onto them in the hope there will be more deliveries to your suburb or something. They certainly hold on to them for some time.

I think Delonghi in general can talk to allied rep and ask them to lift up their game, it is damaging the overall Delonghi experience.

        • @nadan: yes thanks I contacted Allied first and only contacted Delonghi after Allied missed their delivery date which I was told by the customer service on the phone should have been last Monday. I'm just surprised that they have made no attempt to contact me, even to say they are sorry about the delay and can't do nothing about it would be better and not responding at all

        • This is pretty pathetic…

          https://ibb.co/dUxAsm

        • Well apparently it will be delivered by COB today, (for the fourth time). I'm not holding my breath.

Delonghi, you guys need a new logistics partner.

        • Arrived today, finally. I've got a query about what I received but I'll contact Delonghi direct about that.

        • @Thiefsie: good news, glad to hear you finally received it. do you mind sending me a pm regarding your query? Just curious and somewhat suspicious /over cautious after that whole debacle.

  • I recently made the purchase and the email I got says the courier is Toll. And I’m in Melbourne as well. The tracking has no info though when I click the link.

    • +1

I got the same it's an automatic email check your consignment number with Allied Express

      • oh yea, thanks for that. thats so stupid that the email link takes me to toll.

        • +1

No worries, I should have taken that as early warning signs that this order wouldn't be a smooth one to say the least! All the best with your order, hopefully the delay issues whatever that may have been have now been sorted.

  • Latest report,my oven has finally arrived! But not without it's dramas! I received two țexts today saying my order is with the driver… That's right two ovens are being delivered to me! Delonghi somehow missed the fact I called on two separate occasions and submitted an online form requesting a refund on the one I cancelled over a week ago. And the courier company also missed the notes in their system saying that I cancelled one of the orders.
So I had to again call both and now I need to wait another 5-10 business days for a refund as they have to wait for the return of the item back to their warehouse. The bloody item was still at their warehouse waiting to be collected for delivery when I made the original call to cancel! Wtf!

  • So it just wasn’t me having problems then. Andrea at Delonghi was great following up. She didn’t say that Allied do have problems though. My oven was delivered when I wasn’t expecting it to be. They left it out in the rain and I couldn’t move it until my husband got home. Was not impressed at all and would not order anything that has Allied as the courier company. Leaving an oven out in a Thunder storm was a crap thing to do to a customer.

    • Oh my, did they ever send you any communication that they were delivering?

On their email it requires signature upon delivery to ensure package isn’t damaged during transit.

      • They sent a text in the morning. As my husband had taken a day off work when we were told it was going to be delivered the second time and then the day on the invoice it said would be delivered and I stayed home, I told Allied I will not be staying home a third day. They need to tell me what time it would be delivered. She said they will contact me when the driver is close to my house. That never happened. Andrea said it would be late afternoon so I made sure I was home just before 12 noon. It was outside for the neighbourhood to see. Someone could have taken it too. I couldn’t move it as it was too heavy and a distance from the front door. So put a towel over it to try and stop the rain getting in. Then the thunder storm happened.

        • +1

Wow that is bad. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be sure to be on them like a hawk

        • +1

@cloudy: That's a good idea, if you do get into the unfortunate position of having to call Delonghi customer service, don't get fooled thinking they are sorting things out for you. They aren't. All three conversations I had with them I thought I had got my message through to them and they were going to sort it all out and call me back. I got pwnd hard!

  • +1

Well the issues with this purchase never seems to end. Current issues still outstanding from my purchases:
    1) I originally purchased the seconds stock oven but cancelled it and purchased the clearance stock as it became available again. I cancelled the oven when it was still sitting at delonghi NSW Warehouse. Repeated enquiries about my refund over the phone and by email were ignored and the oven was sent to my address which I was told by the Delonghi staff to reject. Der
Now currently still waiting for the oven to be returned back to their Warehouse where it was when I cancelled the order and then wait another 5 business days to get my refund what a joke. I asked to see if they could expediate my refund and outlined my attempts to stop this order before it even left the warehouse. They replied and no consideration has been given why do I have to wait 5 business days after they receive their oven? I didn't even touch the damn thing and if they cancelled delivery when I actually called them the first time it wouldn't have even left their Warehouse that money is quite a lot for me and they are just holding it without even caring about the consequences of this.
2), I purchased the same oven but as a clearance stock item to replace the cancelled seconds item which was finally delivered after some delays but when I opened the box over the weekend hoping to install it I have noticed there has been damage to the back panels of the oven! So basically it should have been a seconds oven anyway.
    To be continued…

    • +1

I know you wont accept it, but damage to the outside rear of an oven is very very common and wont affect the performance at all (it tends to be very thin steel or aluminium and is really just covered the electronics)
With that being said, I would probably just take photos, install it and seek some compensation (maybe 20%?)

      • Thanks for the reply, Delonghi organised a technician to come see it and basically said the same thing (although he did initially think I boought a seconds model). The main issues for me is the rear back appears to be bent because it's been dropped and the whole unit has twisted very slightly. This has caused the back leg to not sit flush with the ground and most annoying is the bottom oven door is not aligned with the top door. I've been trying to work out how to do the trim around the oven as it makes it even more obvious. I'm also concerned something internal might have been affected causing a greater chance of a premature issue. I was thinking of asking for an extended warranty of some sort just in case that happens.

  • I should also add I finally received my money back in my account today! Over 3 weeks from when I cancelled it.
