Cheapest I have ever seen this console for a brand new one.

The console is advertised here for $469 at JB, live chat with HN and refer to this page to get it for $369.

      I have two nephews, and a ps4, and they could barely play it until they hit ages 8-9+. Prior to that, it was a lot of just moving the controller not doing anything/dying constantly. Even the Lego games were too advanced for them at 5. The 11 year old is just starting to get under way now, with Minecraft and stuff. He guides the 8 year old but the 8 year old is impatient and doesn't listen, even still.

      If you wanna get a technology based gift for a 5 year old, then a tablet with kids games and kids youtube is what they loved when they were younger. Apps from TocaBoca and stuff. That said, he had to be supervised constantly, as he was not very gentle with the tablet.

    I just went in the HN store in Wiley Park this afternoon and was told that they can do price match for the console, but then the guy told me they are out of stock and there is one thing bring in his attention. He said the model from JB is different from the one in HN, and they might not to do the price match in this case. He is not 100% sure though.

    Have an xbox one x on pre order for pick up tomorrow, but still second guessing myself as I know I'd use the ps4 pro more. Wish they still had the 2 game bundle in Glacier White for $499 doing the rounds.

    Just pick one up in store but didn't receive any confirmation email from amex, I normally get them straight away. Did anyone get an confirmation immediately after purchase?

      Can confirm, got mine not long after. Don't sweat it though, AMEX are really easy to deal with if it doesn't come through, you just email them and they'll fix it up.

        They are. I had only one out of two separate card purchased $100 rebates that didn’t go into my account & no confirmation email either. They ended up sorting it out. So make sure you chase it up

      Don't worry, some games run at a faster frame rate at 1080p resolution, but guess that's why you shouldn't consider the Pro.

          @fastnbulbous: It'll be VERY likely that Harveys will have a no Amazon price match policy, given that they won't have physical stores, and will be decimating them on pricing. Our best bet will be to wait for another store to have a good sale, to meet Amazon's prices, to get HN to price match, to then get our $100 back from Amex…. Hopefully.
