I own this grill and it is awesome

    What do you grill?

    • That's a best kept secret.

    • Easy way to cook bacon!

      • +1

        How do you do it?
I've tried grilling bacon/meat but it seems to make a mess every time, oil/fat will drip from the top plate when you open it up and drop onto the coil wire thing which is impossible to clean.
Cooking pancakes, on the other hand, is a piece of.. cake?

        • +1

On the other hand cooking cake will turn to.. pancake.

        • Shortcut bacon. And a folded up paper towel behind the machine for the oil to drip on to.

  • plus delivery charges!

    • Plus electricity to use it.

      • Don't forget cleaning and maintenance costs!

        • And the food, it all adds up.

  • Dupe?

    Edit: new code. Disregard.

  • Just made a toastie with it. It's great.

      Whats the clean up like?

      • +2

At $20, just buy another one.

Very easy, just wipe it with a damp tissue while it is still warm

wipe it with a damp tissue

Being an Ozbargainer I assume a used tissue is ok?

I made a Pavlova with mine

  • Now that's cheap.

  • these are great i generally go through 2 per year at work

Using one of these is a really effective and fast way to grill halloumi. Comes out nice and crispy, and makes no mess.

    • This guy grills.

  • Got an earlier deal on this - It's great apart from the fact you can't keep the lid open (for open sandwiches).

Ridges are only on the top plate also, so relatively easy to clean.

  • anyone use this to grill meat? what do you guys use to clean it? seems hard to clean :(

    • i do , i just use it as a pan for meat , but if i want a true grill i wait till its done , unplug and clean with a damp paper towel when its warm still

    • Yep, use it for a weekend brekky fry up. Cleans easy!

      • sometimes i try cleaning with paper towel but it leaves bits of paper which is annoying :(

        • You need to clean it with a non-stratching scour when it's warm. I use there

    • i worked in a cafe for a few hours as this was their practice.

they cooked chicken fillets, steaks and fish fillets on these things lol.

  • what's the cleanup like?

  • Picking one up this arv. Thanks OP. These are easier to clean than the ones with ridges on the bottom i find.

  • where do you apply the coupon code?

  • FFS I bought one of these on Saturday to get me over the $350 mark for the $50 voucher. There goes $5 :(

    • Have you got your voucher yet? If you have, how about you just purchase this with the voucher and then return it under your other orders receipt lol?

  • Goddamn that's a good price. I managed to get one for $30 a few months back and thought that was a good price. $20 is a steal.

  • Got one at 10am and still waiting for pick up email. Got mine to cook breakfast steak at work.

  • Checked around stores in Parramatta, NSW , not in stock for C&C.

  • Just got it woot woo…. perfect timing for one

  • I know they're not entirely comparable, but if I had the option to buy a used George Foreman grill for the same price, which would you guys recommend?

Also, is the height adjustable on this? TGG descriptions says yes, but a few reviews and comments say no.

  • Bought one in the last eBay deal. So far it has been 12 days and I'm told the store is still processing the order. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Steer clear of this offer and the good guys

  • Nice.
