I bought it last time and uninstalled it, both Google Drive's scan and CamScanner are better in terms of rotating pages and scanned image quality.

    OfficeLens is always free.

    • Adobe Scan as well

      • Yeah, that too.

No point going with third party apps when verified assioated apps are available for free.

Personally went with Office Lens as it has 'save to one note' available, very handy feature. Has PDF output too though.

Seems like a little known fact, but Google Drive app has a scan functionality which is similar to camera scanners. I have been using that to send "scanned" documents straight to my Google Drive account.

    • Same with Office Lens for office apps / OneDrive

      • Oh cool. That's good to know. I have some space on OneDrive too. Cheers.

    • I use the Google Drive scanner too. If you scan frequently, you can also add home screen widgets to immediately start a scan without having to open the app.

  • This has been free so many times, would be interesting to know how many have actually payed full price for this

  • I've used a number of these and think Camscanner is probably the best of the bunch as far as cropping, filters and integration is concerned. However, their (Free) cloud services is really limited in capacity (but will get me through a year's worth of scans). The others arent too bad but the filter sets and auto crop isnt anywhere near as friendly.

  • What does OCR mean?
