      Early access means the game is still half-done and still under testing and active development phase.

      Usually the price is low at this stage to encourage people to buy the game and make sure the studio, or game company, has enough money to keep going and create the rest of the game. This is a popular model amongst game studios now; this way you can already make a little bit of money, or at least, cover some of your costs (pay wages) even though the game is still incomplete.

      After the game is "finished" the price is usually increased, although the increase in price may not be very significant. The game studio will just maintain the game from then on and patch any bugs, and create additional content as DLC.. Or they can move on and create the next sequel.

  Basic on the views this is a rubbish game half of the players think its not playable and since 28/09/2017 the following weeks the game gets more negative than positive every week, so even the game its free I dont think its worth to try.

    Take those reviews with a very large grain of saltiness. I'd blame hackers too but the fact is I'm just crap at this game.

  I was about to buy it a few days ago until I read all the neg reviews by guys that have put over 300 hours into it. Something about a Chinese investor and a boom in Chinese players that have started hacking in the game and ruined it.

    I was skeptical based on the reviews as well but decided to give it a go on the weekend. I haven't encountered any hackers but boy do I suck at this game. I have two kills to my name. One was a guy who was almost dead on the ground and I simply put him out of his misery, the other was unarmed and beaten to death by my fists as I landed next to him after parachuting in. Every attempt at lining up and killing someone with any form of intent results in failure.

  Purely speculation, but it seems to me that if they had a pretty robust anticheating system update in the works, it would make little sense to release it now. By not doing so they can milk the cheaters for every last buck while they are still "early access", fund more resources to finishing the game properly and further develop their anti cheating patch then perhaps drop it a couple days before release in case it borks everything. Then have at least initially, a cheat free full release.

  Then again maybe I am too optimistic.

  Forget the negative reviews.

  This game will ruin your social life.

  Hackers are a problem, but i'd say you meet 1 in 15 games or so. Devs are consistently patching to resolve this.

  PC requirement is very heavy though. I personally have spent $500 to upgrade my above average hardware to run it on average FPS.

    I don't know about 1 in 15 games, Last night we had 4 games in a row with hackers i.e mini14 shooting full auto from 400M head shots every shot and getting shot at when you are behind 2 walls lol.

    The cheating has gotten out of hand the last few weeks. There is no real point in reporting you have to upload a video open a ticket etc and that only bans that person. They need something to detect the actual hack in real time.

      i haven't encountered a hacker 2 games in a row yet. then again, i die pretty early in the game every time so I might just miss them :D

      Which server do you play in? I personally feel like there's a lot more hackers in OC server compared to AS and KR servers

  The 1.0 update will be a significant change in many ways.

  Testing is already underway and they are continuing to update their anti-cheat system.

  Worth the purchase.

    The price seems to jump around a lot so it might have expired. It's worth checking intermittently if you want it lower but $31 still isn't bad.

  This game is awesome and addictive especially with friends or randoms while using voice chat. I've hardly run into any hackers. Only thing that bugs me is I'm not able to get over 100fps on a 1080ti on ultra lol.
