Main advantage the hotplate has a direct power 220V and heats up quicker than on the Cr10.

    Be aware of the shipping time. I ordered one Monday last week and was told at the earliest it would ship 30th November. If you want it in a hurry good luck. The shipping date seems to be continuously slipping.

      Hmm it doesnt mention that on the website, that is still better than banggood I think. A recent purchase was delivered to melbourne in 2 weeks.

      Year I bought a couple of mi bands about a month ago, they took about 3 weeks to ship, let alone arrive,

      Also a resistor died on my anet a8 board… Logged a support ticket and heard nothing back, gear best is getting pretty bad for service, might stick with banggood…I had they will much better and actually have (decent) after sales support…
      Ib like gear best but there service has really gone down hill.

    I ordered an anet a8 from gearbest on the 11/11. It's status has been sitting at "packed" pretty much all of last week. I don't know wtf is going on, but very disappointing. I was hoping to have it in my hands by now.

    Decent deal. All the reviews seem positive towards this printer. My 2 cents.

    Pros.
    - 220VAC heat bed, quicker heating.
    - Large print size
    - Full metallic frames.
    - Customised Marlin firmware.

    Cons.
    - Apparently the heatbed sheet bubbled when heat up for ABS printing
    - Salmon effect on printing but easily fix

      Yeah added an option to fix to salmon effect. Doesn't happen all the time though

      i got my A8 in late Aug, i ordered in early Aug. basicly 2 weeks time, it is normal. but during 11/11 man, just pray.

      Afaik it has tracking its a courier service. Dont have any idea about free priority even though I tried to read up on GearBest shipping FAQ. I live regional so courier's better I think.
