[FREE] Brütal Legend STEAM Key HumbleStore

1900

Brütal Legend is an action-adventure that marries visceral action combat with open-world freedom. Set in a universe somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Spinal Tap, it’s a fresh take on the action/driving genre, which in this case is full of imitation cover bands, demons intent on enslaving humanity and Heavy metal tunes. Featuring the talents of comedian, actor and musician, Jack Black as super roadie Eddie Riggs, as well as cameos by some of the biggest names in metal music it's a wild ride in the belly of the beast that is not to be missed by gamers and Metalheads alike.

Included as a free bonus in the PC version of Brütal Legend are both the Hammer of Infinite Fate and Tears of the Hextadon multiplayer map packs.

I was this close to paying $1.89 in the GOG sale! Thanks OP!

This game is brilliant! Please note, though, that it is a first person tower defence game with open world elements. Very unusual style but fantastic game!

From memory only the boss battles were in the FPS/tower defence genre. The rest of the game was third person action.

I played it recently on Xbox 360. It gets rather repetitive towards the end and so I haven't finished the last handful of chapters. But I was really enjoying it till I got stuck on one of the battles and couldn't be bothered doing it for the 3rd time. (I'm probably doing something wrong but can't be bothered Googling).

It's actually third person and while there are some tower defence sections they're really not the main part of the game so I don't feel it's accurate to describe it as such. It's certainly open world though as there is a lot to drive around and explore. I tend to view it as a hack and slash action adventure with some tower defence influenced battles.

Really cool game overall. Jack Black does great as the protagonist and the metal soundtrack is also great.

Ozzy Osbourne is in it too as a minor character.

Game is from 2009 but still holds up. That's creativity!

    It has an awesome soundtrack!

Watched nearly the entire game on YouTube years ago. Worth downloading for story and cutscenes alone!

Thanks another games in my collection.

Lol, I really need to check my library before I redeem these. Two in a row I already own… I just hope I haven't prevented someone else from redeeming down the line.

    Jack Black - The Game

I really enjoyed this game right up until the first "tower defense" style battle. The main story parts are great but I don't enjoy tower defense at all.

Loved this game when it was first released and the killer soundtrack. Played through it on the Xbox 360. Always wanted to go back and finish it but never got around to it. Now I can with the superior improved PC version. Which also includes all the DLC. Tears of the Nextadon and The Hammer of Infinite Fate.
