AC origins is download and BF is disc.
Same bundle was 329 yesterday, 399 this morning. Not sure how it changes so often but glad that I checked

  • How good is the 4K gaming on these compared to a PS4 Pro?

    • +2

This is the S model and doesn’t do 4K gaming. It can do HDR gaming and 4K Blu-Ray. The X model does 4K everything.

        OK, thanks

The info given to you earlier was incorrect! The "Xbox One S" can upscale your games to 4K TVs dynamically, the same as PS4 Pro (but not original PS4 or original XB1). The "Xbox One X" is almost 5x more powerful than Xbox One S and 40% more powerful than PS4 Pro, allowing it to play games in True\Native 4K, for the most uncompromised experience in resolution and framerate! :)

        • @TheBORM:

          The "Xbox One X"

That one is ridiculously expensive though.

        • @jv: It's actually very cheap for what you get under the hood, and most appropriate if you want the very best in living room gaming today (it's half the cost of comparable high-end gaming PCs). For folks on a budget the "S" is the most solid choice, as it supports dynamic 4K scaling for gaming and includes a 4K Ultra HD BluRay player for discs … something the PS4 Pro does not. Digital games you own on Xbox Live are also playable on the original Xbox One (low spec), Xbox One S (med spec) and Xbox One X (high spec) so you will be taking your library with you, if you choose to grab an X in the future :)

        • @TheBORM:

and includes a 4K Ultra HD blue ray player for discs

unless you already have a collection, discs are a dead technology walking.

@jv: True, however many customers may have a disc library they can use with the "S" and "X". I may need to correct myself, because I don't want to mislead you. Looking at the below link, Xbox One S may only upscale non-gaming media like Netflix, YouTube etc … take a look and maybe ask your local retailer in-store. But for the best 4K gaming experience I recommend an X. https://news.xbox.com/2016/08/02/xbox-one-s-4k-hdr/

        • +1

@TheBORM: Meanwhile the PS4 Pro is essentially a 2K capable console that dynamically scales games up to 4K, using checkerboard rendering - a technique that has actually been used in consoles for dynamic scaling for over 10 years! The X is a sizable leap over that, so can render most "X enhanced" games at Native 4k … I say most, because game developers can individually choose whether to focus more on framerate or throwing endless whizz bang effects on your screen, instead of resolution. There's no 1 size fits all standard in game development, and neither Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo (that we know of) dictate game performance specs to 3rd parties! :)

  • Forza Horizon 3 + DLC (Download) + Battlefront 2 Bundle is the same price

Is the AMEX $100 still active? In their website it's not available anymore. Is it available for overseas AMEX cards?

  • Not bad average games out at $60 each and the 4k Blu-ray is $159

  • Wonder if these guys will do a decent PS4 sale or if it's just for XBOX. This is such a good deal but idk man.

    Epic deal. Thanks for posting!

Not available locally in my store, that means ordering it through HN online -shudder- …Very bad experience with them and never tried it since.

Has it been pretty smooth for everyone else? This deal is fantastic.

I did 2 x orders recently with HN and they went really well. Fast, no problems.

smooth sailing for me, ordered 2x airpods through hn online and pick up in-store, and the $100 amex cashback offer :)

      • Thanks for the reply. Perhaps they've made their system better since. Might grab an Xbox when I get paid :)

    • Add to cart then check. Mine showed no stock but after I added to cart it did. Picked it up already

Thanks for posting. From the product page it showed no stock on the Northside of Brisbane at all but going through the checkout process showed one store with stock.

Just in time for our son’s birthday on Friday!
