Have been searching for some time for a good deal on a mid-range washer and Bing Lee has come up with the goods this time around. Well reviewed models and I've heard positive anecdotal feedback about these washers. I had been looking at the Fisher & Paykel Washmsmart range but the prices had just been wrong for the past month or so, however, this looks like a great alternative.

These are buried within "Building Materials & DIY" section of the ebay store.

  LG .. our last LG 7.5 Kg front loader lasted 12 faultless years and we only got rid of it last week when the high speed spin failed and the risk of repairing it at that age was too great. We bought another LG ( almost identical BUT Direct Drive now) from Betta (20% off eBay sale) for about $100 less than this Electrolux (total delivered and installed price, they actually did the installation AND removed the old one!!)

    I just bought this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Samsung-SRL458ELS-458L-Baross… and can wholeheartedly recommend from my two weeks of ownership so far. Doesn't seem to come up in the ebay store when you search for it, but this link looks like it works.

    $799.20 is a great price for it too!

    PS. It says pickup only, but maybe you can call them directly and ask to have it delivered?

      thanks for the info Dicci - had a look and a nice size and capacity as well as being 4 star energy rating. It seems a little bit steep that having recessed door handles is $200 cheaper than handles which poke out those - the normal price for the recessed handle version of that same fridge is $785 at Good buys / harvey normal etc.

        Are you maybe referring to the SRL454DSP model with the recessed handles? If so, bear in mind it uses 458Kwh versus 330Kwh of the model I mentioned. Not sure why as they seem to be very similar fridges, but that's quite a difference and could impact you in the long run.

  My old samsung FL is still working - but its been erroring out after a long cycle every now and then - So i think its dying.

  The thing I hate is - i tend to look at the lowest reviews to get a feel for what the product is like. And when i do, i fear that it will happen to mine.. and get turned away because of it.. And that happens with almost anything.

    I just dropped by HN, and asked - no go.

    The guy said its a 'like for like' deal. So they can match the JB price of $550, but wont include the $50 voucher.
    Or you can buy at the HN pice $599 with $50 voucher included.

    He said the delivery is $50.

    The $60 delivery option seems to point to "Full Service Delivery" as per here: https://www.binglee.com.au/help/delivery-information. I haven't experienced this yet, so I'm hoping it's the same for my washer.
