Roughly what are the trade in value for the games? I really just want overwatch and codww2

For the above games, would I see any significant frame rate improvement on a 1080p display over the normal ps4?

    DAm thats pretty good

I bought my ps4pro with nba 2k18 and it was $500..

Man was hoping EBGames would be doing a cheap entry level 500GB PS4. Dont want it packaged with a game to hike it to $319. JB still seems the way to go friday at $269.

Not considering PS4 pro? Future proof?

      • Nope not really interested in the Pro, 1080p is fine for the games I want to play on it. Plus its not really real 4K. Plus the PS5 will likely be out in a few years when I get my 4k tv anyways lol.

Buy the PS4 Pro bundle, & trade all the games back in with the 15% extra trade in value by using your EB Card.

    • How does that trade in work?

      • You get an extra percentage on all trade-ins with your EB Card, if you have a certain level. https://ebgames.com.au/EBWorld/about I have Level 3, so I get an extra 15% on top of the offered trade price. It works on both games & consoles traded in.

        • Ah right, makes sense.
I am not even a member yet so I guess I wont get any additional value on them.
This will be my first gaming console so my plan was to play all the old good games first for example farcry series etc and by the time I finish playing those games, the games offered in the bundle will be much cheaper (since they are recent releases). How should I go about it?
My plan was to trade in these games with older games (since I haven't played any games at all yet and they seem to be much cheaper). Also if you can recommend some good games too thanks.

  • Does this come in white colour ? I just want the white one.

Trade in for these 5 games is $60 - so with Level 3, we get back 69 - not worth it IMO - best to get into Costco and get that $399 or wait for JB to reduce the base model to 469 and price match at HN for AMex Folks….
    First world problems….

    • Can I ask, is the $60 confirmed or an estimate?
I’m not sure if I should proceed with Costco or EB

      • Called up EB and confirmed.

      • I just got quoted $50 whilst keeping Wolfenstein.

Can I just say, you people doing the ringing around, the logic behind trade ins and so forth are absolute legends. Appreciate the work you're putting in.

  • Guys I just bought the EB games PS4 PRo bundle should I cancel and buy from costco (I have Membership), for the exact 5 games being offered I thought the price was reasonable??please tell me where I can buy these games for the cheap price if I was to cancel it.

Heads up guys. You can get 10% off this deal on EB games Ebay.
I think there is another deal up on OzBargain so check it out.

  • Walked into EB Games @ Southland, they jacked up the price up to $549.

    • -4

The $499 allocation sold out yesterday now available for $549 https://ebgames.com.au/featured/black-friday-2017-ps4-pro-ha…

      • +5

The allocated lot??? But you still have them in stock at $549, that’s price jacking especially when you state your sale being a weekend sale… either sell it out or don’t sell it at all!!!

        • -6

EB would have a deal with PlayStation for how many they can sell at 499. Once that allocation is reached it cannot be sold anymore.

        • +4

@Icarus1: so why not be upfront about it being limited?

        • +5

EB Games stated Black Friday weekend sale, you had advertised it for $499 there was no mention of limited stock.

EB games still have stock of these and increased the price possibly due to demand (but really you know the answer to this).

You have plenty!!! of stock in store, seen at least 10 bundles stacked on shelves at EB Games Southland and a sticker over the price… a fairly poor one.. hey we have the photo of this if you want to look at it..

All I can see on face value is that you have price jacked it from $499 to $549 advertised price when you specially said it was a Black Friday weekend sale.

This is clearly a bait and price jacking - baiting is illegal under consumer law… another one for accc to look at…

Edit: Neg vote due to baiting and price jacking when there is plenty of stock in store, advertised as a Black Friday weekend sale at $499 and increased to $549

      • +2

The $499 allocation sold out yesterday

Might want to read up on the ACCC laws on false and misleading advertising

I dropped into a store on Saturday and the price was $50 more thank what they emailed me…

        • +2

Example of mid sale bait and switch, clearly says offer finishes on 27/11

          @DanielR:

          disgusting practice.

I hope the ACCC get onto them.

        • @DanielR:And no other ‘limitations’ other than while stocks last.

        • @jv: Report them if you have 5 mins….Its super easy to report….
