If your travelling soon, and claim GST back on this card, total will be an impressive $63

Not so true as the total value needs to be >300 from the listed ABN. You would need to purchase 4

    • +3

      Oh true 😬

      • i voted u up cause of the funny emote

  • +3

Any deals on 64 or 32gb?

    • +2

      I'll pass on to rep

      • +2

        Cheers mate

  • +1

    Considering for galaxy s8

  • +2

Is this good for Nintendo switch or it needs high speed card?

    • keen to know too as i'm looking to buy one for my Switch

      • +2

At a glance it looks like it should be fine. Was looking at the older 200GB card (according to Amazon) which apparently worked well on the Switch and it looks like the read speeds on this have improved a tad on paper.

I don't think the Switch demands blazing fast cards although faster always helps I guess.

Considering grabbing one for my Switch.

        • Nintendo says it needs a 65/mb read speed or faster. Games like LA Noir definitely need it even with a physical cartridge. I used a 40/mb card and it noticeably chugged. But I have the 64gb version of this now and it works fine.

        • @ONEMariachi: It'll have to perform decently of course. This ones 100MB/s and the older model that was popular and didn't break the bank and wasn't substantially more was 90MB/s.

    • Yes grabbed it for my new switch

  • +5

Do the 400gb one… Or 256gb evo plus

  • +1

Gotta keep telling myself to hold out for the Samsung Evo.

  • +1

Very nice. Wish I waited, but I jumped on the Amazon deal last night.

    • +1

You can probably still cancel the order.

  • +2

I'm waiting for the Samsung Evo plus or +, I don't have good experience with Sandisk MicroSD, card stop working on me several time, especially using it on my mobile.

  • +1

I’m seeing it listed for $77. Something wrong?

    • use the code bud, extra 10% off

  • +1

use the 10% off ebay deal mentioned in the post

    • -1

      how?

  • +1

Same here its listed for $77

  • +1

What is the code for ebay 10% off ?

  • +2

code not out yet… prob will be avail at 10am

  • Has anyone used one of these in a Gopro 5 black?
    (speed isn't a concern I only record at 720p)

  • would this work on the Galaxy S8?

  • +1

What is the write speed on these?

  • THanks heaps! got me one.

  • +1

Oops, pulled the trigger too early and bought before the code was released! Oh well, I guess I'll get 77c back through Cash Rewards. Bargain!

  • +1

Just got myself one! I've been keeping an eye on it since I purchased it, I think it'll sell out pretty soon. Great bargain for my Switch!

  • Got one, thanks OP.

  • Awesome. Just added 200GB of storage to my DJ Laptop. This is most excellent.

  • 200GB for less than 128GB? Dang.

  • copped! thanks

  • No idea why I bought it, but yeah sure why not.

  • Is this good for 4K video recording?

    • +3

      No. Need U3.
      OK for 1080p

      • Ok, thanks. I will pass then.

      • What about 1440p playback and recording?

    • Are you sure you can't it does 100MB/sec?

      • +1

100MB/sec is the read speed, the write speed is significantly less… U1 is guaranteed to transfer at a minimum of 10 MB/s, U3 it's guaranteed to transfer at a minimum of 30 MB/s… U3 is recommended for 4K…

I cant find firm info about the write speed of these U1 200GB cards, some claim as low as 15MB/s, some claim as high as 25MB/s… either way, it's less than what's needed for 4k…

(edit: BTW, I'm no expert, this is my noob understanding of the speeds)

    • I think its ok for 4K as my friend got one and tested on his s7 edge, Read 89MB/s and Write 46MB/s, i just purchased one for me, look like better deal than the EVO Plus 128gb

  • +1

    521 sold… 214 in the last hour…

  • How is this compare to Sandisk Extreme? much slower?

  • just grab one.

will do raid 0 for my macbook.

  • Doh!

I ordered from Amazon US last night for a few dollars more.

    • Just cancelled the Amazon order and bought this one.

Local stock will also get here quicker too.

  • Just paid $25 for a 32gb, makes that purchase look very sad.
Judging by the Good Guys sell price for Micro SD cards, this one would sell for $688

    • Seriously? Even on normal days, you can get 64GB for that price…
      Did you even check Ozbargain?

    • I bought one of these for $90 a month ago :(

      • You bought a 32gb micro sd card for $90?????

Or are you talking about the 200gb?

        • Whoops. Yeah a 200Gb card.
          ($90 for a 32Gb? Worst deal ever.)

        • @Draxxx: oh haha ok that makes more sense. Yeah don't worry I did the same.. was a few extra bucks dearer but needed it in a hurry so I wasn't too bothered.

          Hindsight is 20/20 though :(

        • @AlienC:
Yeah same. Needed it at the time. Oh well.
Yeah, hindsight.. I'm seeing a few things I've bought recently being trumped today..
          Oh well.

        • +1

@Draxxx: don't be too hard on yourself it's honestly quite hard to get a deal that lasts for an eternity.

  • Chhers OP, been cruising along OZ for a while and this seems like the best one I could find - #forGalaxy7

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • Bought one, can't wait to put into my switch

  • please advise me, should I buy? Backup storage for phone maybe??
*Edit - PANTONE can only be used once, bought a coffee machine earlier. oh well thats a deal breaker, will wait for the Evo plus 256gb instead :)

    • I used PANTONE twice without issue…

      • Sorry realized i used it twice also, coffee and later a camera. Must be limited to 2 im guessing?

**Yep just read t+C and it's 2. oh well

  • Thanks just purchased one for me, was confused about this one and EVO plus, but seem better deal than samsung and larger capacity. Read 89MB/s, Write 47MB/s on s7 edge for who concerns

  • Hoping it works in the Raspberry Pi - got one anyway! Thanks for this Pc Byte!

  • 200GB card out of stock now.

  • Sold out with 1007 sold…

  • +2

No shows out of stock. Hope they top up so I can get one.

  • Thanks bought one earlier :)

  • Don't much like the Cruzer line as I find the slider to be very flimsy; I basically need to hold my thumb on the slider when I'm pushing it into a USB port or it will just push itself back into the housing. That said, mine is old and maybe they've fixed this.

  • +1

Last time ordered a micro SD and a USB from these guys…received neither. No response to ebay messages, and ultimately I had to lodge a dispute for a refund.

  • I wonder if they will post it or not. It appears they might have over sold their stock?

  • Got mine in the post yesterday :)

  • mines listed as posted, but tracking number doesn't track anything just says "pending" and today's the due date and nothings arrived, not looking hopeful :(

    • Mine says the exact same thing :( I will put in a claim with ebay if it doesn't arrive tomorrow.

      • I contacted them and they said it was an Auspost error with the tracking and give it a couple of days, i'll give it till Monday them put claim in

    • Exact same thing for me too

    • In same boat.

      • same boat, maybe the heavy rain in Melb has caused the delay for '30th' delivery

  • Funny, after contacting them, tracking started working and was delivered today, there is no way that was sent Monday and only arrived today, Syd > Mel

  • Tracking not updated, having doubts it was actually shipped
