Noticed that Geekbench 4 Pro was free on the Google Play store and added it to my ever expanding list of apps/games that I'll probably never use (just like my steam library haha).

Not sure when the deal ends so grab it while its free.

    Confusing pics of app, it includes an illuminated Android system back button, which of course doesn't work…no matter how many times you press it.

    I know it's free but given that 100upvotes probably translates to at least 1000 ozbargain user downloads - what is the average person using this app for? You run it on your phone and it spits out an arbitrary number that is it's 'performance' - then what? I understand the use it would have for PC's but not mobile devices

      You buy a new expensive phone based on reviews. When the phone arrives it seems to be slower than what you have read so you download an app like this, run it and wallah! You get the same 'arbitrary number' as in the reviews which makes you feel better about your new expensive laggy phone!
