    It might be a good price for someone specific about Emirates, but not at all a good price for just going to NZ. You can easily get Qantas for about $200 return and even cheaper with other airlines.

      They might be cheaper, but at the rate Qantas is grounding its fleet, I don't think there'll be too many planes left by February 2011 to take you to New Zealand :)

      The cheapest I could get on Qantas for BNE to AKL for random dates in June 2011 was $581, quite a bit more than Emirates at $404. All things equal, I would probably choose Emirates too (better planes/service, at least for this route).
