Since when did Logitechshop "officially" become Logitech Australia.
    Weird.

    • Who is Logitech Shop?

Logitech Shop is run by Fluidtek Pty Ltd, one of Australia's leading Logitech distributors and an authorised Logitech reseller.

We are passionate about Information Technology and retail, and work hard to provide fantastic service and great products.

      Are your products genuine?

Yes, we are authorised resellers, and all of the Logitech product we sell is genuine and comes with full Australian warranty.

      • neg 2 votes… really?

It was just a copy-paste from the Ebay website.

Mark copy/pastes as a quote with quotation marks, italicise, bold or do something dude; otherwise people will think you're an undisclosed rep! ;)

        • haha, ok. Thanks for the tip StewBalls. :)
I thought that the truth itself was enough since it did distinguish between this store than the manufacturer.

This is NOT from Logitech themselves, IT IS from Logitech Shop

    • But sold on eBay and advertised by Logitech Australia……

        No

"Logitech Australia" is simply the name of the ebay seller, it is not Logitech the company

I knew there was a reason I held off buying the MX5500 from JB HiFi(other than its an outdated POS), and thats because I knew Logitechshop would strike back with a better deal. Eddie is the King of Logitech deals here in Sydney and don't you guys forget it ever.

    • how is the MX5500 inferior to the M710?

      • The MX5500 was a cool piece of technology in its day which is 2007, the MK710 is 2010, was only announced in Feb 10. The combo is Marathon technology in both mouse and keyboard, which means 3 year battery life, which is a big plus for a wireless combo. It also uses the unifying receiver and has better wireless range.

  • I wish I'd bought one of those instead of the Wave keyboard I got for waork. The Wave has that stupid "sideways" layout for the utility keys (INS, DEL, HOME etc) - the non-standard layout makes typing SO hard because I use those keys for page navigation.

  • Good deal, but 'Logitechshop' registering an ebay username of 'logitech_australia' is really misleading IMHO; unless of course they have been authorised to do so by Logitech Australia! :o
