EA Board Games for iPhone $1.19: Monopoly, Scrabble, etc

460

Title says it all, for limited time all EA board games are $1.19 each: Monopoly, Tetris, Scrabble, Risk, Battleship, Cluedo, etc. I just went and bought almost all of them.

This combine with Kmart iTunes promotion (2x$30 for $40) means you could buy them for $0.80 each (Edit: Kmart promotion finished already, so yeah only for those lucky enough to snap it last week - but hey $1.19 is much better than the full price for most of these games $5.99)

Enjoy!!!! PS: First post, be gentle :)

  • "This combine with Kmart iTunes promotion (2x$30 for $40) means you could buy them for $0.80 each."

    Kmart itunes promotion has finished

  • Kmart's deal (that expired on 17/11) was 2 x $30 for $40.

    Nobody currently has that deal.

    2 x $20 for $30, sure - but not 2 x $30 for $40.

  • what the diff between Monopoly and Monoploy Here and Now edition ?

    • -2

      reviews are crap anyway…

    • No idea, but the normal Monopoly is the American (Boardwalk, etc.) version. No options to change it to the UK version most Australians would be familiar with (Old Kent Road, Mayfair etc.) I found that rather disappointing.

The here and now is the World edition, while Monopoly is US Classic edition, which is crap because half of the cities you wont recognise. Also, Bargain wise I suggest getting the Here and Now since regular price is $5.99, while the classic one is $2.49

  • Tetris isn't a board game?

    • NO U R!

    • Yeah it is, you just have to get used to dodging the snakes and aiming for the ladders.

I only play Tetris when I'm board.

  • I noticed that MoneyBack is noted on this bargain, are you serious we get 5% moneyback for itune purchases?

    • 99% sure that that shows up for 'Apple' not 'iTunes'.
So if you were to buy an iMac you'd get moneyback, itunes purchases, doubtful.

    • ITunes do have an affiliate program and some cashback companies do work with them, I have had cashback from iTunes purchases many times.

  • Is there a list of all the EA games?

  • Equiv 96 cents for those who have a UK iTunes account. With the exchange rates as they are UK iTunes has been cheaper even than US for quite a while.
