  • A “professional” toaster? lol

    I never knew I was an “amateur” toaster.

    I must hone up on my toasting skills. Is there a weekend crash course I can go on?

  • not to bag out the deal but my sister had to return this turkey of a toaster after paying around $190 after is failed after 3 months…oh well

  • $129 for a toaster, a bargain?????

    • WT? read this please before voting again

      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

      Like saying $800 for a mobile phone … or $100,000 for a car isnt a bargain - just depends on the brand etc. If you read a post above someone paid $190 for one of these retail.

      It also like saying a litre bottle of coke for 75c isnt a deal, because you can buy 1 litre bottles of cola for 69c at Aldi and both a drinks that quench your thirst (or caffeine cravings LOL)

  • +1

    @OzStock:

    Why only a one-year warranty? I thought that all of the 800 series had two-year warranties. Are these seconds? Grey-imports?

    How are they different?

  • My last toaster was a Breville. A $10 special from Safeway managed to last 10 years so was very happy with that. I replaced it with another cheap Breville. I don't see too many people forking out for a toaster thats $100+, but Breville is a nice brand.

  • I got this at Harvey Norman about a year ago for $120 cash. I don't think this is such as good deal.
    And as "You and Me" mentioned, it did have a 2 year warranty when I bought it!

  • Haha we've got one of these toasters. They look nice, have fancy LEDs and such. Otherwise it's just a normal toaster.

    The price premium is totally worth it so you can press a button and see your bread slowly lowered into the toaster :3
