    i think i signed up for this last time but couldnt find anything for free when you take shipping costs into account. let me know if you can find anything for free?

      It's definitely not a "freebie" - you have to pay shipping for everything.

    i got 3 tubes of kids toothpaste for $10.30

    Cost ~ $6 a tube at the health food shop so saving $8 and having it delivered counts as a bargain. Thanks op.

    They have this kind of 'promotion' with $15 or $10 off online-use only voucher sometimes.
    The catch is you still have to pay shipping fee, which can be expensive for remote area or heavy items.

    For myself living near Glebe, where their shop is just around the corner, it doesn't make much sense to pay postage but you cannot order online and pick up at their shop with this voucher. This kind of voucher is online only so you cannot use it at the shop counter either. For normal shopping (without voucher), I was explained that the shop can arrange your item to be picked up at Glebe shop to save shipping cost but not if this voucher is used. That's their policy. I felt a bit nasty taste in their management behaviour.

    Their items are generally overpriced (of course some rare cases posted above) so there is no much point to buy them at full price anyway.

    Overall experience of this store is dissapointing, management doesn't seems like they want to 'listen' what customers think or want. To me, that will head to one place.

    Oh, btw, I believe some may remember that they used to have another shop in Sydney, Bondi Junction in Westfield (basement floor) but it was already closed. not surprising.

    But good luck anyway.

      Hi Zenzen,

      My name is Landon Kahn and I am Todae's Marketing Manager. I would like to address some of the concerns which you raised.

      1. In regards to the shipping to remote areas, we now have a dynamic shipping module where you can select between three separate couriers for delivery and we offer overnight priority deliver for orders under 3kg for $7.50. We do not make any money on shipping and charge the customer what the courier charges us. we use couriers as we need to provide tracking for our customers, so the items do not get lost (as often happens with Auspost).
      2. For in store pickups, we are currently working on a module which will allow them without shipping costs for our Glebe store due to customer feedback regarding this issue. It should be live early next year.
      3. In terms of our pricing, unfortunately we cannot compete with Woolies/Coles for the few items that we both stock (we simply do not have that buying power). But generally against like for like competitors our pricing is competitive and often sometimes cheaper.
      4. I am sorry you have had a disappointing experience with us, and I would like to assure you that management here at Todae highly value customer feedback and we have evolved the way we do business due to feedback we receive. I thank you for this feedback which you have given.
      5. The closure of our Bondi store was unfortunate, we had a lot of hope that it would help people of the Eastern Suburbs with physical access to our products. It was just a situation where timing was not good as the store pretty much opened with the start of the GFC. We still hope to expand our physical presence in Sydney in the not to distant future again.
      6. Finally in regards to having to pay shipping this is the same for normal gift vouchers, so we have not altered our processes to make it 'not a freebie' it is just simply how our website functions.
