  I doubt you would find many Chef's "Professionals" using these knives,wont hold and edge for very long but the price is very good.

  It seem they don't have a sharpener build in. My current block has a sharpener for each knife, if the knife is blunt I just need to press a bit more when inserting the knife, and voila', sharp again.

  Global Steel on their blades will be far superior to these Knives don't do yourself a disservice and buy these it will just frustrate you.

  Buy yourself a Minosharp sharpener and it will work really well with the Globals.
