Xiaomi 0.5mm Silver or Gold Sign Pen with 3 Refills US $5.78 (~AU $7.62) @ Gearbest

60

I discovered that GearBest is now selling the pen refills for Xiaomi's Gold and Silver Sign Pens. For those that don't know, Xiaomi's White Sign Pen uses a different refill to the Gold & Silver versions.

Direct link to the Xiaomi's Gold & Silver Pen Refills is here:

A better way to purchase is to buy a Gold or Silver Pen, scroll down where it shows "Buy Together & Save" and you can buy a pen with 3 refills for $7.62.

  • Looks like another Parker knock-off.
    What is special?

    • Buy together for $7.62. Save around $5 for Pen and $2 for Refill.

      • but cannot order both on a single order??? wtf gear best

        • I had problems ordering during checkout as well.

Make sure that you are logged out of your GearBest account. Go to one of the pen's page, click on the "buy together and save" which will add 2 items to your cart. Proceed to checkout then log in when asked to.

When you are already logged in and proceed to checkout, it will throw a weird "view cart" error.

    • I wasn't sure what was supposed to be special about it when I bought it. It was cheap…

Anyway, it doesn't need pressure to work, it works at first attempt (every other pen in the house requires a test scribble to be sure), and the ink runs smoothly. That's about it.

  • Do Xiaomi have a frequent buyer program yet? It's half the stuff I own now.

  • +1

Need a deal just for refills.
I already have the silver one and gold pen is on order ….

Here's an interesting article on China's inability to make ball point pens. They needed to import all the ball tips from Japan and it wasn't until recently they could manufacture it themselves.

  • I'm receiving $15.42 @ checkout.

Edit: nevermind, I had two pens added to cart instead of one, although they can't be ordered together anyway.

  • This pen has really grown on me. Enjoyable to write with
