      • n n n ….there you go

  • Oh nooooo. :(

  • Dammit! I couldn't decide to buy it or not.

  • Out of curiosity:

What do people buy these for? I mean, I buy them for clients because I see a lot of people in my work—but other than that, aren't most of you here either set up fine on a desktop or using an already-wifi laptop?

    Seriously interested….

    :)

      1. Old laptop may have only 802.11b/g but they have an 802.11n/ac AP.
      2. Laptop's wi-fi adapter has died.
      3. Desktop: May have moved/renovated house and now no longer convenient to have PC next to router. Now need a wi-fi adapter.
      4. Desktop's wi-fi adapter has died.
      5. It's OzB: ppl can't resist those $1 deals! :P
      • All valid, but I'm thinking no. 5 is it— lol.

        Cheers

  • OMG i missed out on this :(

  • In a similar vein, I checked ebay as I'd found some like this at around $2.00 shipped a few months ago. What do you think about this seller:

It clearly states, in the main heading, that it is a "new" item. However, expand/scroll down & you get:

"New: Never Used: A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with defects. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections"

Worse, there's nothing in the "report this item" drop-down, which addresses this, so you can't even bring it to ebay's attention.

So much for listing a "new" item on ebay— better expand & read every, single word, down to the letter.
