Dr Oetker Chocolate Pizza

I know most OzBargainers love a Dr Oetker pizza. But these usually involved ham, pepperoni or cheese.

However, what is the verdict on the new chocolate dessert pizza?

Anyone tried it? Anyone even want to?

It's $5.00 at Woolworths this week.

I find that brand to be disgusting but willing to give it a try. Inb4 really cheap low grade chocolate.

    really cheap low grade chocolate.

  • I find almost all frozen food pizza has got not so quality ingredient (due to the cheap cost anyway).

Costco pizzas are not bad but I prefer more on the thin crust like Dr Oetker pizzas.

The chocolate one taste quite weird and cheap. (might want to add in chocolate chips, bananas or strawberries to make it taste better)

On the other DR.Oetker pizzas, if you are creative it can taste really great especially when preparing for the kids.

You can also add extra ingredients like-
    fresh tomato slices
cheese (the mix ones with mozzarella)
leg ham /turkey slices ( avoid eating spam meat pizza …… worst kind of meat)
    sausage slices
    mushrooms
    …endless posibilities

PLUS I only buy them @ 1/2 price lolz

    Hawaiian Pizza
" The only thing about its Hawaiian, I love to drop it in the ocean…salt and sweet, its not a pizza its a mistake, ….Italian tragedy, never put pineapple on a pizza maybe desert and doesn't go on a pizza ….etc." Gordan Ramsey

    I love Hawaiian pizzas.
Guess his taste buds is at a different level.

Dr Oetker are a really poor product compared to McCain Takeaway.

McCain Takeaway usually sell for $8.50 but stores sell them for $6 for a week, never nationally. Recently Woolworths has experimented with lowering the price to $7.50 and it has twice been $5 at Coleworths.

  • $5, can't go wrong.
would vote yes if you had a poll in OP

  • I used to love Dr Oekter but now I just make my own pizzas from scratch or do Dominos. Found the Dr Oekter ones a bit too salty after a while. Wouldn't try the chocolate one, not sure on desert pizzas

Seeing as it's only $4.75 (we all use eGift cards, right?), why not try it yourself? The investment required to sample a chocolate pizza is very low.

  • I was going to ask what others thought as well. If I manage to get one today, I will report back :O

Well I tried it, it was a very strong cheap chocolate taste. Not terrible but not really something that demands to be eaten!
