USB3.0 (or in this case, turbo), is really good for the transfer speeds, but if you just use it for charging your phone, it doesn't make a difference.

Everyone is raving over these, but they are not 20 AWG for power and only 32 AWG for data. Since the numbers are not perfect, what makes them so good apart all that sensory bs?

Can you elaborate on why these numbers are important?
They signify the thickness of copper wires - the smaller number, the thicker, i.e. less resistance = better cable. For normal micro USB 20 AWG is the best you can get for power and there are cables with 28 AWG for data. Type-C is less popular and in most cases manufacturers/vendors will not even care to make this vital information available.
Will this support fast charging on say.. a Huawei Mate 10 (4.5V / 5A low-voltage fast charging) ?
Gah ozb thinks I posted a referral link, so short answer no I just tried one on my mate 10 pro. Fast charges and not supercharges.
Supercharge cables are cheap on aliexpress.Didn't even know there was such thing as Supercharge (I have a Mate 10)!
I just bought one of the cables in the OP since the stock cable is so short. I usually charge overnight, so I won't notice anything, but I'm the OCD in me is annoyed the cable isn't Supercharge compatible lol.

So it seems the iPad 12W(or alike) power adaptor is the quickest USB A charger you could use with this cable. Might be good just for travel.

I have a blitz wolf car charger and to get it to work, I push the USB A part into the charger till it stops, then I have to actually pull it out a mm or two for it to work.
Dunno why…but that works…try that maybe?
