Free $20 Store Credit (Min. $50 Spend in Next 10 Days) by Completing Email Survey [Recent Purchase Required] @ The Good Guys

After having just bought a Google Home Mini in store from TGG, I was emailed my tax invoice and noticed a survey link in the email to complete for $20 store credit.

I'm not sure if anyone else got this so it might be targeted but please check if you've recently bought something from TGG!

Thanks OP. Got it in an invoice for a returned item :)

I got it too, thanks mate!

Funny thing is, I bought the stuff for free using other store credits from price errors lol.

You're a good person for pointing this out.

  •

I got an email for Survey from TGG, but no store credit upon completion. My survey is in partnership with "Reevoo" and is asking: "Would you recommend this product?"

    •

It’s different to that, you’ll find it in the original purchase tax invoice email, just search “$20 store credit” in your email and it’s just under the total of the invoice.

      •

I purchased through eBay's TGG Click and Collect, so I don't think I'm eligible for this offer.

        •

I bought ebay click collect X 2, and nothing.
Bought 1 x ebay with delivery, and got one. But they said that I would receive it in 10 days time and that it would be valid for 30 days. ($20 off min. spend $50)

  •

If anyone isn't using theirs. I could use it to buy something please :D
The eneloop Gods will reward you for your kindness

  •

So just to confirm, you can only do this survey if you already purchased something from them?

    •

The link looks unique so I think so

    •

      It's random

Not everyone is guaranteed to get one

  •

The survey is randomly sent to selected people

Out of 5 orders I only got one survey

    So YMMV

    •

I'm curious, were your orders made from the eBay store, website, or in-store?

        Website

      •

I bought instore using their concierge store credit and I got this survey email to registered email address

    •

Out of all 3 orders I've made in the recent month I've got surveys for all of them…

  •

    Targeted offer

  •

    thanks OP

  •

I got two…. but its very long.

    •

Actually it's not too bad, I thought it was gonna be heaps long but maybe 15-20Qs at most

  •

Thanks OP. Just checked my email and did the survey. Now I can get another Google home mini for $20 less.

    •

Yep exactly what I plan to do if the stores still have it for 50 odd dollars. Makes for a great Christmas pressie!

  •

do you think we can use this with a price beat w/ officeworks for their z623s?

    •

Fingers crossed the code gets sent to you before those deals expire (3 days). Also I don't think TGG price beat, only price match.

      •

        well yeah price match*

I used my store credit of $20 to buy a $29 item. It went through ok despite the $50 minimum requirement. Picked up the item and got another survey for that purchase. Both purchases were either in store (after price match of course) or via TGG website.

    •

I think you used the concierge credit which has no min spend

      •

I got that first $20 credit by survey as well. Never bought concierge from them. Was an error on my part to use the credit on the $29 item but hey, the system didn't pick it up either.

        •

Oh crap nice! Was it the same survey?

        •

          @currentfad: Exact same.

        •

If you're lucky you can create an infinite feedback loop of free $20 credit.

Find something that is exactly $20. Get survey. Buy $20 item with credit. Get survey. Rinse. Repeat.

          @lostn: umm.. 50 dollars minimum?

        •

@Shepard: Did you actually read his comment?

"Was an error on my part to use the credit on the $29 item but hey, the system didn't pick it up either."

        •

          @lostn: Philips Nose Trimmer Series 3000 $19.95

        •

@Peck: Won't have any nostril hairs again.

        •

@lostn: HeHe! I bought one for the bum feathers. Went back to see if I could use the voucher again, and it gave me 5 cents off. And so you don't even have to use the $20 in one go!! Pretty happy considering that I got 20% off on their ebay store too.

    •

Did you get the survey after picking up the item or when they told you it was ready to be picked up?

  •

Anyone got this email after buying a very cheap item?
Also how long does this email take to arrive after buying an item?

    • +1 vote

The invoice email came after I walked out the door. For C&C it comes when item is ready for pickup. Not sure for delivery, I assume when it is dispatched.

      •

Thanks, how long do they usually take to get it ready for pickup?

        • +2 votes

TGG is quite quick. If I order during the day it's ready in a few hours. If I order after opening hours it's usually ready in the morning for my store at least.

        •

@currentfad: Ok so I bought something for $5 last night and it is ready to pick up now but none of the emails have the survey offer. What was the title of the one where you got the survey? Maybe there is a minimum price?

        •

@esco333: Or does another email come when I pick it up?

        •

@esco333: Title of email was "Electronic Receipt"

        •

@currentfad: Hmm I've only had "The Good Guys: Order Received", "Web Sale Collection" and "Good news! Your order is now ready for pick up". Maybe I'll pick it up and see if I get another one

        •

@currentfad: Roughly how long does it take for them to send you the store credit after finishing the survey?

        •

@esco333: Not sure buddy, I posted the deal before I did my survey and I am still waiting :)

  •

If anyone has a free code and would love to spare me one, i will be grateful :)

    •

      Likewise, pls share the love

  •

    Thanks OP

I am waiting on my $200 store credit from the Cyber Monday sale. It is supposed to be delivered by the 7th but no sight of it yet. The air con unit I bought is on back order. Not sure if that means I don't qualify for the store credit because the transaction isn't complete yet.

    •

      Haven't received mine either

  • +1 vote

was wondering if some could give mr their credit so i can get a cheaper Google home, then once I get and do my survey I can give them my coupon… besting the system kind of.

  •

thanks, noticed it on a purchase a couple of weeks ago… didnt even see it… thanks

  •

If anyone isn't using theirs, please PM me! I'm in the market for a Google Home - thanks!

  •

We bought a microwave and completed the survey but didn't receive the $20 voucher code. So i just did it again and still no email with the code. Bastards!! Will have to email them now.

    •

Store credit will be issued within 10 business days of fully completing the survey

      •

I have no idea how i missed that. I'll go and hide now.

  •

Thanks heaps OP. I always ignore those emails. I bought an iPad with goodguys eBay and received the survey. Can I use the credit on good guys eBay again? How long does the credit take to come through?

  •

Thanks so much OP! Bought some swag on VIP night and have the email too :)

    You are awesome!

  •

    Thanks OP.

Didnt even look at the invoice that was emailed after my purchase because I had the paper one.

Saw the offer on the invoice and did the survey :-)

  •

Bought in store yesterday, received a text msg with the survey invite, advertising this deal :)

    •

What was the price of the thing you bought?

  •

Thanks OP. I received the email but never bothered to open it until I saw this post.

  •

Used concierge to buy $27 item, got call and pick up notification but no survey. Oh well, no chaining for me.

  •

can we use this 20$ discount on the next online order..

    •

Yes "You can redeem your $20 store credit online or at any of our stores by ??/??/201?"

  •

Has anyone got the coupon? How long did it take to get?

  •

    Got my code today.

    •

So did I, but I did the survey days after you did. They must send it through on set days

  •

Did anyone else do multiple surveys but only get 1 code? Is it 1 per email used to receive it?

    •

Maybe try doing it again in the new year, just in case of a hidden t & c. limiting to 1 p.a.

    •

T&C says 1 per month if I recall correctly.

  •

    got code in email yesterday

  •

    Got voucher yesterday too :)

  •

Anyone else get an error code when trying to use the voucher? I tried to purchase something using the voucher which it accepted but when it redirected to paypal it resulted in an error and is now showing 0 voucher balance and purchase didn't go through.

  •

    got code too - woohoo

  •

We got the code the other day and bought a kettle today :)

Interestingly in the tax invoice sent out to our email .. there was another survey link to get $20 in store credit.

I'll do it again tonight and see if I can get it again :)

  •

Did the survey about 10 days ago and still no code. Answered 100 questions for nothing, TGGs? This is war!

    •

"about" Put down your gun & be patient.

  •

Got my second voucher today :)

  •

Did they stop giving out the surveys? Or does it not work on stuff purchased using store credit from the survey?

    •

The Good Guys Customer feedback survey has closed until 9th January 2018, thank you for shopping with The Good Guys.

      Survey is closed until 9th

      •

        Thanks

  •

I have one, and maybe 2 (I have already offered one to a very charitable ozbargainer, and am waiting to hear back).
The expiry is "End Date: 01/01/2018"
Spend $50 and get $20 off. However I have used a similar one to spend $19.95 and it cost me nothing. That was online that they are not enforcing the minimum spend, but I am not sure if it would be the same in store. I can forward the email to you if you want to use it in store (Bar Code) or I can send you the code, and pin number and you can use it online.
    PM me.

    •

Sorry folks, free vouchers are gone. Just have to get thru the PM's to sort out the first 2 replies.
