  • 49" X9000E 4K HDR TV with X-tended Dynamic Range PRO - was AUD $2499 AUD $3499 supposed to be $1399

    • My bad. Corrected.

I want money for an oled :(

I want a TV that has the best display, all the features they could possibly throw at it, and future proofed for my shiny new ps5 that'll come out in another few years.

Now isn't that time… And LG 2018 is changing the display to some new WOLED technology… That may be better or backfire like the LG v30 grey screen uniformity crap.

Put you're spare cash into Bitcoin, in a couple of years you can cash out and buy a majority share in LG , and force them to make anything you want

      • -2

Yes i'm sure you could pull it off.

    • Yeah, LG really impressed the world with the OLED they threw in the Pixel 2 XL…

      • It's a risk they'd take, either try increase production while cutting costs or use some fancy mumbo Jumbo to keep the costs up with barely any changes.

I'm waiting on hdmi 2.1, Bluetooth headphones support, polish up on all that HDR/dolby format crap, no judder/latency issues etc.

My 2015 Sony tv and soundbar barely made the cut for 4k while my soundbar won't passthrough HDR. I can't connect consoles from TV hdmi to soundbar or there'd be lipsync issues, must be direct from soundbar which dosnt have enough hdmi slots.

  • Ps4 Gone?

  • The 65" oled tv is still showing up as full price.

    • Same with 55"

  • Had a feeling they'd repeat. I missed seeing the price on the UHD player. Now that I know, nothing lost I guess.

    • +1

I was disappointed with the price too on the UHD player after having seen it priced at $288 at a local Harvey Norman sale here on the Gold Coast.

  • the dab + alarm clock radio is so cute

    • Tis. I need a new alarm clock. Is this worth $1k / 10?

  • JBHIFI have already matched the HTRT40 5.1ch Sound Bar online

  • +2

Sound bar is the same price as JB HIFI.
Edit - Actually, a few of the items i checked are the same price. So if it's easier, go to JBHIFI.

Apology not accepted. This is a great first post and everyone makes mistakes, so don't apologise before you have even made one. Have some self respect.
Once again, great effort on your post. Keep it up 🙌

    • Or "please go easy on me" kinda thing…It's almost asking for problems. Just post and be proud of it..lol

  • The HTCT80 Soundbar is $50 cheaper at Target. In-store only & doesn't come with the free headphones Sony is offering though.

  • I am tempted to upgrade my 39" sony TV to 49" X8000E or 49" X9000E. Is it future proof TV (ie. smartTV)? I read somewhere there is newer model X9300E. Are there much differences between these TV?

and will HN price match sony's price? I have 2 amex cards with me.

Anyone have opinion of this camera? ( or who has it?)

    https ://store.sony.com.au/cameras-videocameras/HDRPJ410.html

I bought it because I don't have a high-end smartphone who can do 30x optical zoom to capture videos.

Although I do have an action Cam and dlsr as well.

    • +1

It caught my eye as well, even though I don't really have a need for one, and also have an Action Cam that I don't use…but hey, when has that ever stopped an OzBargainer?

Was going to say that SD-Card didn't look like a bad deal till I went and saw the shipping, $9 shipping for a $6 micro sd that could easily be sent in a envelope, eh no thanks.
