      bought the 1TB WD book long time ago, after it got bad sectors, I opened it and I found the WD green drive inside.

          I've had the opposite luck so far, every seagate drive I've had has died quickly, meanwhile I've still got WD from 6+ years ago.

      Much rather a non archive drive personally. Had many before, they are incredibly slow.

        Archives are ok for reading but can often rewrite entire tracks due to SMR. Archive drives are misnamed; they should be called write-once/read-only drives!
