  • I know tronsmart cables are gud, but will these support fast charging.

    • +1

the cable will support fast charging … it is more dependent on the charger supporting fast charging.

To be honest geek buying postage is not good.My order for more than 10 days has not been shipped yet

    • Geekbuying is pretty good for DOA return. I have problem with them before it took a little bit longer to process. After I took the video and show them the faulty camera then they have send me another one without ask me to post back the faulty one.

  • Is the Huawei better or worse than comparatively priced Xiaomis? I've owned 1 Huawei which was really poor and one Xiaomi which is really good but they were so many years apart as to be meaningless.

    • +3

Compared to a Xiaomi Redmi series phone the Huawei is going to have some benefits like a better screen and far better cameras.

buy a phone designed for australian market with band 28 ntfc, etc not onto one designed exclusively for china unless you are a chinese person and go back there often for holidays…… will be better than both of these options .

    • I've been doing a lot of research on chinadroids lately and this is close to the top of my list for a mid-tier phone.
The Redmi Note 5 is just beating it out, but it hasn't quite been announced yet.
If you use Telstra or Optus networks and want reception regionally, then you need a phone with Band 28 - this phone does not. For VF, it is good.
The only other things I don't like about it are no NFC and microUSB.
And having Honour spelt wrong would annoy me.

      • hahah im exactly the same as you! Using Kogan mobile/vodafone b28 doesnt affect me since they dont have it.
Im tossing up between this honor and the redmi note plus 5 once it is out… but i wish they both had type c usb, ive preped by buying all the adapters hehe.

Would be keen to have a comparison of the two right?

Banggood is the worst. They have my order for three months and always told me it's on back order. I have to put through PayPal to get my money back.

    • +3

You should post that on a Banggood post ;) Or just message their rep.

awww man they banged u good

  • This phone comes with fast charging and NFC?
Also the website says battery capacity is only 3340mAh not 3840mAh.

    • Fast charge, yes. NFC, no

  • Stay Clear from Geekbuying with high value order. 5-8 days shipping means 2-3 months. i.e. they practically told me do not bother them and wait 2-3 months.
Clear did try to help but I think they ignore him too.

    • I didn't receive a reply to my PM? Anyway, I've put a request in for a refund as it seems to have been lost in transit.

      • Your PM: “I've sent the details to the CS manager” ?
I’ve never heard from anyone. Total silence.

      • What bothers me about Geekbuying is it’s evident via tracking that the item never left hongkong, and after more than 5 weeks they refuse to look at it and told me to wait 2-3 months.

        • Packages get lost sometimes. That's a fault at the carrier's end and not GeekBuying. Now that I know you didn't hear back from Gkb I can have it escalated.

Perfect timing! Was just looking today for some USB-C cables, was even thinking of messaging you.

    Thanks.

  • Any chance of sourcing the Indian Version of the Honor 7X as it supports B28

    https://www.themobileindian.com/product-finder/mobile/huawei…

  • Does anyone know what the Malaysian version supports? I am going shopping in KL next week…

  • Exactly same price at Amazon

    • And this post is from a month ago when it wasn't on Amazon which is also a presale.

      • Don't worry mate, I am not blaming you for anything. Nor I have said yours is/was a bad deal. I was just trying to find a better price than Amazon and found your post and posted my Amazon comment. Take it easy.
