  • Banggood, Gearbest… the ball is in your court.

what is this? are we all into drawing board now?

    • Yeah wth is this thing. The more I think about what it might be the more it drives me crazy.

  • Take note - to me this looks like the original version not the better upgraded version. Personally for a few cents more from Zapals, the upgraded version is much better.

Other than: a more rectangular display and better pen holder/lanyard hole….

How else is the new model better?

      • +1

Brighter screen/lines is the biggest advantage I can see judging by the descriptions. Some users of the old model say its way to dull to be any good, apparently. But like anything version 2 is usually always better and for basically the same price you may as well go for it.

  • saw these at Costco. nifty little things for the kids.

  • The one at Costco is the original version, I think. It was on special for $19.99 last catalogue sale.

My husband personally uses it to write important notes and scan it into the app (boogie board jot).

The Costco ones come with protective sleeve.

    • Thanks
Does anyone know if it has an edit or undo function?

      • There's only 1 button to erase the screen.

  • My 4 year old has a tablet with pen. What benefit would this have over his ipad?

Is it like liquid ink? Does whatever you draw just stay forever until you hit erase? Can you save the drawings / notes you make? How long does the battery last?

    • +1

it's different from Ipad. This is not for playing game. It's basically a scribble board (lcd board) using a button battery. The electricity is used only when you hit the button to erase. If you don't erase, the drawing will stay. And you can save/ scan it using the app.
