  • Yeah great price! Best price I have seen in the past was around $44.

  • nice one! I wouldnt waste my time with moneybackco though, out of the half a dozen times i've ever tried to get a cashback, they weaseled their way out of every single one of them.

  • Great bargain. Picked one up on sale a month ago for $40 which was the best price i could find at the time for a legit card.

  • Darn, I just brought one from JBHiFi for $48 …

  • this is what i have been waiting for.

    kudos

  • Damn, I had just bought a 16gb class 2. Is there a big difference between them?

  • maybe speed. why dont u use H2testw and post the speed test here to compare.
    thanks :)

  • Didn't think Sandisk made them in Class 4. Maybe I'm thinking of the 32GB cards.

  • Apparently some class 2 cards performed well enough to be rated as a class 4.
I have a feeling these are just the class 2 cards stamped as class 4.

Anyone able to do a proper test/benchmark of this particular SD card vs the older class 2?

I can't find the correct Whirlpool post which suggests how to do a proper test utilizing a PC, flash reader and benchmark software.

It might be in this thread but I can't find it:

    • Looks like your right. I was looking to buy two for my psp, and sandisk had a reputation for being fast and reliable. Seems though that they are singing a different tune now, choosing to mark their cards at the highest class that they meet, now that extra classes have officially been introduced.

So if I can get ahold of a old style class 2 16gb, it will probably be like 20% faster, as well as cheaper. Shame

      • I may have to retract my statement about class 4 being the same as class 2. According to some whirlpool tests the new class 4 cards are slower then the old class 2.

I'm now sure how fast the new class 4 are against the new class 2 cards though

  • Sorry don't know how to edit a previous post.
I found the Whirlpool link showing how to test micro sd cards properly.

  • Just received mine - not a class 4 card only class 2

  • guys, class is irrelevant in most cases. What speeds are you getting, thats the most important thing.

    • man, I don't care about the class, but the problem is the class 2 8GB come with my DHD is not fast enough! I don't mind to use class 1 if it's faster.

  • The coupon is not working? Has it expired?
