Tbh this is more of a competition than a deal :/

    • Was gonna say good price for the 1070Ti though until I saw this comment

    • How bad are we talking? Will there still be stock at 8:01pm?

  • nice price for the 8700k , I paid 469 on 1st December :( its a good cpu tho. 5Ghz with 1.35 volts.

hey mate, why are you sad? you saved $30 lol

        I'm guessing he meant $569

        • Yeah i reckon he did; i paid $569 on the 11th of December.

        • yea i was thinking something like that lol

This page clearly says that there was a user vote to determine 3 of the sale prices on offer for their Boxing Day sales.

    The winners were:

    • a mystery 2TB external HDD @ $59
    • Samsung's CF351 32" FreeSync VA monitor @ $199
    • Refurbished iPhone 5s @ $99

Voting finished 5 days ago, but the full schedule of items for the sale will be released on the 22nd.

What this exercise in futility (the original vote, not this post) demonstrates is that the next shipment of nVidia and AMD GPUs are about to drop in price, in line with demand slipping due to the Ethereum mining craze being over and nVidia's current range being at the end of its cycle.

  • Since voting and hence the top 3 product finalisation finished on the 15th of December. The products listed in the title of this post are incorrect.

    Edit: OP fixed title, thanks.

  • It isn't a freesync monitor, not mentioned on Samsung website or on the AMD freesync monitors list. Only on their website.

    • Did seem a bit sus. Was going to check that myself. Now I don't have to. Ta.

Still think its a pretty decent deal. Might buy nine. Fill a wall with a 3x3 layout. Browse OzBargain in style.

  • Does anyone know if the iPhones were refurbished by apple? If is the warranty with apple?

    • Anyone know the answer? I sent the company an email but have had no reply. Quite interested in buying one of the refurbished iphones but only if they are apple refurbished rather than a third party.

      • I'm interested in this as well. Had a look at the FAQs and under refurbished it said this:

        What are refurbished products?
You may notice that sometimes we sell product that is labeled as refurbished. These items are products that are either:
        - Brand new products that have damage packaging
        - Repaired items from the supplier that is in working condition but does not have the right packaging
        - Brand new products returned from a retail shop to supplier that may have missing instruction booklets or some other package content such as installation CDs, but nothing major or critical for the product is missing.
        - Floor stock or demo unit that has been on display before. In some cases, minor cosmetic defects may occur.

Could be Apple refurbished based on this, but who knows

Looks like the whole Sale has been revealed.

I don't see anything about combining Postage? If each purchase is considered individual, that postage is sure going to add up for anyone looking at more than a few things during the staggered release of the items. Someone better at digging than I may be able to find out more?

    • Was thinking the exact same thing just now.

Sad that there are no internal hard drives in this sale.

  • Is the 1070ti worth it? I'm not in huge rush to upgrade my gpu

  • this advertised iPhone item was alledgedly sold out at 8 pm …1 hour before this SALE started…at 9 pm today .. …very odd…interested to hear from other ozbargainers that had similar experience …any feedback about the seller really …thanks

    • I had the same experience. Very disappointed. With some digging I found the same ad listed twice. Once for an 8pm start, once for a 9pm. I only saw the 9 pm so misses out.

      • thanks for letting me know about this …I thought I was being had…

if a business like this allows this to happen , maybe we are the lucky ones to have missed out …god knows what else wasn't working right …

I am looking now at the heated discussion about the 6 and they tip the rep to shreds …poor guy …

learning that there are other competitors now , I didn't know of

        good luck

        • I have bought from Shopping Express in the past and always found them to be reliable. Just this time it isn't. The test will be how they respond to issues like this? I have asked them via email to honour the price on the item when it is back in stock. Have not seen the iPhone 6 discussion. Going over there now for a look.

  • they lost me already as a reliable source

no need for a " test"

I'm sure they have been monitoring their mess
