Shoppingsquare sell grey imports so I prefer to get these from gearbest or lightinthebox and save. Got 128GB from lightinthebox on the last sale for $44.70, almost $20 cheaper.

good price even tho they are overseas stock but locally shipped, exactly same cards as other Chinese online sellers but you get it sooner.

Also worth noting the speed rating on these. The write speeds especially. Not to be confused with older versions of the EVO line that only has 20mb/s write speeds. The 2017 64gb is especially good value, with around 65mb/s write and 85mb/s read speeds (i tested one I bought from LITB recently). The 32gb version is still slowish though. Look for the ‘U3’ marking to differentiate the 2017 version from prev versions.

    • The eBay listing description says the EVO has "Up to 95MB/s and 100MB/s transfer speed" though. Must be an error because that's the same speed as the EVO Plus.

  • 64GB Samsung EVO Plus costs less than the 64GB EVO. Good value considering Aus stock.

  • LOL @ Express delivery - AU $49.95

    • Haha they probably post the cards out in batches once or twice a week. If someone is dum enough to pay for express they gotta get off their ass and make a special trip to the PO

  • i like the speed of the 64gb but they don’t seem to come with the SD adapter …. need SD for DSLR camera, hence the need for speed ….

  • Had a few 64GB evo plus cards fail on some dashcams.

    • Only 64GB ones? What are the model of the dashcams?

      • +1

Yes only 64GB. Dashcams are Viofo A119.
Don't think they like the heat, especially if the dashcam is in the sun.
Note, my dashcams record when the car is off through a switch.

        • I got the EVO Plus 32GB now in the A119S - only records upon ignition. Wonder how long they gonna last but thought of upgrading to the 64GB for longer recording time before being overwritten or in case of an accident.

        • Its a problem with Viofo. Try recording at 30fps. Viofo eat up sd cards.

        • @sn809:
          Recording at 1440p 30fps
Has the ability to record at 1080p 60fps or 1080p 30fps

    • Personally would buy just 16gb cards.Cheaper and just swap if it fails.

It just rewrites over it anyway.
I am okay with removing card if 8nvolved in accident just to keep footage so it doesn't write over it

Waiting for better deals than this.

Must we wait till boxing day?

      • Dashcams are 1440p resolution so 16GB would not record for long before being over written.
OK in the event of a crash but not for monitoring while car is parked all day.

  • Argh, bought mine from another reseller 1 day ago with the eBay 5% discount code. Could have saved about $5, oh well there goes another 20 Star Wars keychains I could’ve stocked up :(

  • How to check if they are fake? Since they are grey imports.

  • +1

Is this a grey import or legit for me to buy this for my GoPro 5 Hero ?

Really looking forward to buying a 128GB card and this looks like a good deal. Please advise if this is a bad idea.

would these be any good in a DSLR? The speeds seem to be OK. No video, just action shots.
