  A quick check of a return from Sydney is $5344 and from Melbourne is $5327 for 18 May > 7 June

  Qantas and Virgin usually run specials at the same price point and don't require a transit through New Zealand. So not much of a deal.

  Also Air New Zealand business class product with no privacy and all facing the middle of the cabin IMO is nowhere near as good as the new Virgin and Qantas Business suites. YMMV.

  I can find Air New Zealand flights 25% cheaper than this on skyscanner during the same time frame. No deal.
