    Wenger 72801 Field Classic White Dial

    Apparently Fastway prioritise Amazon deliveries. Yesterday morning when checking the tracking ETA was 10 January; it arrived that afternoon. The calfskin leather strap shows 20mm width, disproving Amazon specs of 31mm. One leather keeper is static and the other adjustable. This watch is pleasantly chunky without heaviness and appears larger than 41mm because the lugs protrude more than average, enhancing its masculine sporty aesthetics. 100m Water Resistance means swimming is practical with a non-leather strap. Hour and minute hands are luminous and the red seconds hand precludes the wrath of Member AngryChicken, hopefully.

    Produced before 2017, this model qualifies for Swiss Made nomenclature as the movement was assembled in Switzerland and the components of Swiss manufacture account for minimum 50% (nowadays 60%) of total value. It is certain some Chinese parts were also used.

    The stainless steel looks and feels very smooth, unlike some Invicta watches. The price is currently US$45.39 but may again return to US$39.99 which I paid. Finding equal quality and features for that amount is particularly difficult. Despite Amazon specifying Mineral Crystal, the window's Sapphire Coated Crystal is a valuable protective feature which numerous watches costing 200% more still lack.

        The hour numbers are also luminous, but less so. Luminosity is fair but the watch needs to be quite near one's eyes. You won't know where the watch is from 3 metres.

          Oh yeah I forgot that I had already researched that, and speed read your review, haha.

          I find Seiko to have incredible lume, mainly I am talking about my Seiko SKX007.
          I haven't seen another watch that comes close to this.

          It's a nice feature to have, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
          I would rather no lume at all if it's going to be really weak.

          I own a Swiss made Luminox Nighthawk F-117 (quartz) dive watch which costs a lot more than my Seiko & the lume is terrible.
          Build quality feels poorer also. I never wear it.

      On the caseback it says 7280X but it is identical to what the Amazon link portrays.
