    Merry Xmas Y'all!

  • John West or Greenseas

  • +2

Waiting for Coles to drop the prices of Christmas goodies dramatically, typically 2-3 days or so after christmas

    • Déjà vu?

    • i believe it's already half price at the moment

      • +1

Coles will slash the prices of certain christmas goodies. I've seen chocolate as low as $2 when it was previously sold for $10. Be sure to look out for them.

    I misread Voda as Vodka…

50% of sunscreen? Time to stock up.

If anyone's looking to try something new, the Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-Touch series is expensive but works very well. Normal price is $15 per 85mL. If you have family members who hate wearing or re-applying sunscreen because it makes their hands and face greasy (like the cheap homebrand ones do), these don't. They dissolve and feel like nothing. Works really well under makeup too, if you don't want to look shiny.

is this the one? goes for $16.50 per 85ml right now :/

This one (https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/neutrogena-ul…) is the one I saw in store today. The Ultra Sheer Dry Touch face and body, $8.50 for 88mL.

        • +1

yup, saw this at store and bought it for $8.50

the product that i linked is different and not going for sale.

        • +1

@yummycoot: The one you linked has a different, thicker texture, like a paste. The On Sale one has a thinner texture, like a moisturiser, but they both work well and both have the non-greasy Dry Touch effect.

IMHO, the 85mL version is better for your face and holds up longer under foundation and powder, if you are someone who wears makeup. The 88mL version is better for your body, because the thinner texture means it spreads more evenly. I bought that one because I go through it much faster.
