Samsung EVO Plus 256GB MicroSD SDXC 100MB/s $149, Logitech MK220 Wireless Combo $13.30 @ JB Hi-FI

350

Greetings everyone, just noticed this on price hipster and seems like a great deal. Especially good if you still have the 15% off gift cards from eBay.

Officeworks stock this card, so save 5% with a price match if you haven't got any larger discounts :)

I believe this is the cheapest I have ever seen from B&M for this card.

Also Available:

Logitech MK220 Wireless Combo $13.30
Sony X8500E 75" 4K UHD HDR Android Smart LED LCD TV $3498

As always, enjoy and have a merry christmas everyone.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2017

  • IS THIS THE new one or old one?

    • +2

It's the new one, Evo Plus, not Evo+.

  • Is this good for dash cam?

    • +5

lol so unnecessary for a dashcam. Like holy shit you gotta have deep pockets to use this for a dashcam.

Just buy a 32GB. More than enough and like $20.

      • Thanks for your comment, so Samsung Evo + Micro SDXC U1 is good enough? I'm just concern about the heat issue.

        • +1

A genuine Samsung Evo+ will do the trick. I use one and mine works fine. Been more than a year now.

        • +1

Get a Samsung Evo select from amazon. Dirt cheap and U3 speed

    • +2

Not many dash cams can accept a 256GB card so check your dashcam specs

      @POWERevolution,
You can get a SanDisk High Endurance 64GB MicroSD for $53 delivered from an Aussie seller off Ebay.
High Endurance range is specifically design for video/surveillance loop recording.
Check your dashcam what it's max micro sdcard size is. Mine is 64GB.

I have had three Samsung EVO microSDs fail on me in the last year or so, the Samsung quality is just atrocious.

However the Sandisk Ultra ones I use for my phone and Dashcam are still going strong after three years.

    • +4

For me it was totally opposite, Sandisk failed on me 3 times, switched over to Samsung, and it never failed on me for the last 3yrs.

    • Agree
      Wouldn’t touch Sandisk again

  • Officeworks website shows that the Samsung EVO Plus 256GB is only available online, so how would someone get a price beat?

    • +1

You can call them on 1300 OFFICE (633 423) during business hours to match it.

      • Doesn't work, they deny all price match queries.

        • Yeah, I had a similar experience with Officeworks. Rang about a price match, nek minnit, they've dropped the price to that of their competitor.

  • Am looking for a 8 GB for a cheapy gold coins or 5/10 notes, if anyone has a deal, hit me up. Thanks!

  • Is this appropriate for s8 phone? or overkill?
can it do 4k video recording

    • How many music, movies, photos etc do you have?
Perfect for 4K UHD video recording & playback.

  • Good SD card?

  • I feel like Samsung vs Sandisk for SD cards is like Samsung vs Sony for TVs. There's always going to be arguments as to which one is superior, but at the end of the day no one is buying the Panasonics.
