      The VSX-1131 would be a closer comparison to this Yamaha, the VSX-932 would be similar to the RX-V583.

      You have to find speakers that match the output impedance and power of the receiver. I don't know how much you know about these by output impedance refers to the ohms specified for the speakers in the AV receiver's specifications or user manual. You could go with any brand you like as long as the impedance and power is matched.

      Most speakers 6ohms or above will work ok with these receivers.
