  • AOC make good monitors, an underrated brand. I've had my 22" AOC LCD for 2.5 years used every day without a hitch.
Thanks for this Mr Rep., I've bookmarked your website for future reference.

  • quite good price. not bad quality, 3 years warranty, free delivery

  • I'm not gona plus or neg this, it's not a great bargain nor a crap bargain

but there are quite a few other places selling 23.6" LCDs (including this AOC model) for around $190 or less for a while now:
    http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=23.6%22&spos=3

and at MSY (you'll need to scroll down a bit):

EDIT: Seems the link might lag or not load, this is MSY's brand new website that went online today, so i guess there might be a few bumps here and there, you can still load the PDF pricelist directly here: http://msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

However there is free shipping on this particular deal, so i guess for those who don't have a local shop nearby or would prefer delivery would be able to benefit from this.

    • Many of the shops that advertise in staticice don't really have the stock. I've tried so many of them. Crappy websites, you pay, wait a few days and nothing happens. You ring them, they don't answer. Long story short, they don't care and they don't deliver.

      • Well I know very little about Greenbox IT, ARC Computers and MCG Technology listed on staticice, and yes, what you say could be indeed true.

However, ITestate and MSY are both fairly well known to many consumers, although MSY is strictly pick up only atm.

If you like/need free shipping then yes it's probably a good deal, but i'm just pointing out to everyone that this is not that great of a "bargain" considering a few stores have them around or even cheaper than the "bargain" price as a normal price now, which also means you can buy it anytime you want with no expiry date.

  • shipping of a monitor can be anything between $10-$30. It is a good deal for those who want it shipped, who would pay $200-$220 for it shipped.

Like you say, the deal isn't that good for those who can or want to pick it up from the shop.

MSY has it cheap. But their being cheap place comes with a price:

I am frustrated with the level of service of many Computer shops, online and in store. I've been to other countries, and I think in Australia we are way behind in service.

At least these guys are offering free shipping, and are doing a great effort. Look at their return policies and their feedback on eBay.

There are other few companies which I think are doing a good job as well, like techbuy and mwave. But still in Australia is like we, the customers, have to beg the sellers for their service. I hope Australia can catch up soon with the rest of the world.
