  I believe the Burning Studio with the year in the title is their free to use version (just requires registration on the Ashampoo website).
  Their paid version just has a number at the end.

        You need to think beyond the immediate vicinity of your own VGA port.

        You and i can easily survive without CD's, DVD's etc.

        However there are some applications where these are still useful.
        For example the CD's are for a specific CD player. While it can take a USB key, navigation is a hassle, and those using it are more familiar with CD's anyway. It's the right solution for the particular circumstances.

  This program was very good, I considered it far superior to Nero and other common burgers at the time.

  Problem is, this just isn't needed anymore. Back in Windows 98/2000/ME days this was fantastic. Come XP, still good for burning mpeg to DVD format, and iso….

  But nowadays I can't think of a single use for this

  Upvoted for timeliness. For the first time in about 15 years I have a need to burn an actual physical audio CD and my copy of Nero 4 doesn't seem to work anymore.
