If it is, may I come inside?

  • Expired. In 8 minutes :/

    • still there…wat u talking bout boy, i aughta slap you

    • Worked fine for me just now.

Can’t have anything else in the cart though.

  • Just got 1. Then realised I probably should have tried to order more.

    • Worked only for 1

  • Didn't work on one of my accounts, so I logged in with my wife's account and it worked fine.

  • Thanks got another one. My other order for 3 of them arrived yesterday. Seems to work ok for the one I've installed.

    • I asked the Gearbest rep to beat the Light In The Box deal at US$4.80 and that's the coupon s/he sent me :(

    • the code is revived, it's normal for GB. not a dupe.

      • +1

It's a dupe if it's revived within a month at the same price, davemac is correct.

  • Its cheaper for me without the code?

  • Got one for $6.26 AUD. I have no idea why I bought this. :(

    • Happy to take it off your hands if you change your mind :)

      • Sure. Will let you know.

  • still works yo!

  • Yay! Did not missed this time. Got 1. Just installed 4 last night integrated in home assistant, and just needed another 1 for the computer room window. Perfect timing Op! Cheers.

  • This needs the core hub to work doesn't it?

    • +1

you will need the Xiaomi gateway to work with these sensors.

      • wait so i bought one thinking it would work by itself….your saying it wont o.o?

        • Lol. I did the Same. :D It seems the Gateway alone costs around $40. There are some 5 Piece Kits that have been sold for $60 +/- in the past.
I just found an app-controlled Ximoi Camera on ebay for $13. Going to test that and If It seems working well, I might buy the Security Kit on their next sale.

          @Bavan:

Mate, watch out for that seller, looks dodgy as.

        • @Curiouscat:
That's what I thought first(Price is too good to be true). But, the seller claims it would connect through Mi Home App in the description. If it doesn't, I can claim back in PayPal. What could go wrong? And If something goes wrong, you can always hurt his 100% rating at least. ;)

          @Bavan:

Yeah, payment with PayPal is a good idea but this scum as per profile is based in UK and sends goods from HK.

The only harm apart from hurting his rating this purchase would do is making you agonizingly wait for the product delivery status.

With this price camera is not going to be sent out for sure. :)

        • @Curiouscat:

With this price camera is not going to be sent out for sure

          LOL.

        • @Bavan:
Curiouscat knows what he is talking about, that eBay account has clearly been taken.
The guys never sold anything and now he is volume selling xiaomi cameras at less than half of what anyone else will sell them for.

          I don't think so.

I have taken a chance on a few of these "listings" in the past and had a 100% failure rate and a wait of around 30 days to get your money back.

        • @FickleRick:

Hmm… Why would they do that? Hoping someone would forget about this order? :-o
I have never encountered anything like this. Anyway, the Item has already been marked as shipped. Will wait and see.

        • @Curiouscat: you are a genius man. I received this today.

Your recent eBay transaction may be from a compromised account. We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have accessed the seller’s account to list this item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled.

          😑

@Bavan: :), my partner had bought an e72 from ebay quite few years back at fraction of cost.Modus operandi was same, seller was based in Germany and sending goods from China, my partner waited for 3 weeks and we got suspicious about it.

It's no surprise this type of scum still exists, and happy that you will get your money refunded faster.:)

  • Did I need one? No. Did I buy one anyway? Yes I did.

Great offer but I'm getting code expired message. :(

    • Same here, expired

  • Previous code AUdavemac09 still works for me, just ordered one
