nope they make it so that each version has their own attachments
Thanks … I have lots of attachments for V6 and an older Dyson Vacuum. My V6 died, it seems to be battery but then the floor Motorhead has been playing up also, I have had it replaced by Dyson 2 times already. It is only 3.5years old so really not a good experience.
Not correct most will work as they just slide into the hose, and for others there are adapter connectors you can buy for different models so they can use on different model. Only ones are the motorised heads that are specific
The V8 has a completely different connection to all other Dyson models (cordless or full-sized). Only accessories specifically made for this machine will work.
Dyson doesn't make an adaptor, but you may be able to find one online somewhere.

The V8 has a different connection to any other Dyson product, you can find a third-party adaptor to use accessories from the DC45/V6/DC54/DC39/etc. Motorised accessories will still not work.
You may have luck if you have something exactly the right size which can just 'slide in', I don't have any experience with that.
Alot of attachments that arent motorised should work, as I can swap them between my DC21 and my V6
The V8 though has a different connection. I am sure eventually an adapter will be made to fit older connections to the new ones.

Exactly the same vacuum, with the same set of small attachments included, the difference is just the floor head.
Animal comes the motorised head (great for carpets, pretty average on hard floors).
Absolute comes with the motorised head (great for carpets), and the soft-roller head (great for hard floors).
Absolute usually HEPA filter and fluffy head for Timber floors

Myer and Woolworths have done the 10%discount Myer gift card recently. If people missed, then too bad. Now, You might need to source from somewhere else to maximize your saving.
Even if u can only get 5% discount gift card, you can still get v8 for 536.8, which I believe is still the lowest price ever.
OK, can you walk us through this deal as according to cash rewards, if a gift card is used, there are no cash rewards. It also says electrical goods are excluded from cash rewards. Is the Dyson classified as a cash reward?

I cannot guarantee that you will receive the rewards just like that price match can be easily rejected even if lowest price guarantee is advertised.
This is the same situation as you cannot buy gift cards with gift cards in Woolworths, but it works anyway.
