I've never liked the build quality on razor stuff, it breaks easy and feels flimsy. Their service on the other hand is great. I bought a black widow keyboard from China a few years back and the space bar broke (Dota). Emailed razor to source parts and they shipped it out free.

Yeah same although there's probably some quality in there amongst the … crap :p

I like how they sometimes make outlandish products and prototypes though like that projector that continued past the monitor boundaries or that nutty three screen laptop.

I just can't see why you'd spend that much when Logitech and Corsair exist.

Spend $319 on stuff worth maybe $50 and receive a headset that's actually worth $10 absolutely free!

    • Just go buy steelseries or other brands that don't charge an arm and a leg for similar or better quality.

      • SteelSeries ain't cheap either. The keyboard I wanted was $219. Can't vouch for the quality of SS tho. From what I heard it's probably better than Razer. Corsair are good but equally as expensive as Razer.

        • I have the steelseries raw for $10 and it's considerably better!

  • Exactly. I bought an Ouroboros and one of their super duper aluminium Manticor mouse mats a few years ago. They were both the biggest piles of steaming shit I've ever wasted money on. The mouse would randonly lose power, and when it wasn't doing that it would stutter, or lag, or the cursor would jump all over the place. The mouse mat had an incredible amount of drag, which meant the mouse felt like it weighed three times as much as it did. All that for just $200… Razer. Never again.
