LG 442L Top Mount Refrigerator - $685 ($435 for Queensland Residents Via Rebate) @ The Good Guys

Eligible for $250 rebate for Queensland residents if purchased on the 1st January (sale ends on the 1st). Was looking at 4 star energy rated fridges and found this model on sale.

Also available at Harvey Norman for $686, but their sale ends on the 31st, so Queensland buyers won’t be eligible for the $250 rebate.

The fridge is currently $919 at Appliances Online, and $950 at Appliance Central.

I think they give 30 days price gurantee and 20% of the price diff. I was told when I visited them on Boxing Day sale. Not sure if it's applicable if they beat their own price. But worth asking them.

        • you are correct

        • Yea Good guys 30 day price guarantee - refund 120% of the price difference. As mentioned by OP Harvey norman has it for 686, bertiness can use this.
@bertiness this kind of works out cheaper for u then this sale price. But u will get refund in efpos card

My sister bought a 4 star washer in boxing day sales from TGG. We rang and asked if they could do anything for us due to rebate starting on 1/1/18 and they are going to reissue a new receipt on 2/1/18 so we can claim the rebate (pretending to return and repurchase). Give that a try.

  • Anyone have experience on delivering to apartments? Does door-to-door delivery inc them taking it up the lift and to the door? or is that to the building only. Silly question but I've never ordered something like this before to an apartment.

    • should deliver to your unit and bring it in.

    • Yes .. door to door delivery includes transporting the item by elevator to your apartment, but only if the item you've ordered is able to fit into the elevator. If it's too large for the elevator, they will only deliver to the apartments ground floor. They will not carry it by via the stairs to your apartment .. Work,Health and Safety Act.

      • When did that happen? I’ve lived in a fair few units that have no elevators and they’ve always brought them in via stairs… obviously the units we’re max 3 stories not the current monstrosities in Sydney suburbs so I assume in those complexes they can say no to going up stairs meant just for fire exit..

        • You are correct .. I should have made that clear.
I assumed he was referring to a multi-storied high-rise building.

  • I was also looking @ the same fridge. However, before buying it, I had some questions, will appreciate if someone can answer it for me.
    1) There is no review available for this model. Can anyone please provide a reliable source of information about the reviews/feedback for this model?
    2) Does JB Hifi Price match?
    3) Will TGG install, remove rubbish & remove old fridge with the Standard delivery charges?

    • 1) “Professional” reviews on fridges doesn’t seem very common, place like Choice will have them but you need a subscription. There’s 36 customer reviews on Appliances Online.

      2) JB will usually price match, you’ll just need to do it in store.

      3) I’m not sure if TGG delivery service offers this as standard, I’d say probably not, as there’s no mention of it.

      • Thanks for your response.

        1) The review you mentioned on Appliance Online is for a different model.
        2) They wont do it online/over the call.?

        • Ring and find out.

    • +1

If you pay $69 for premium delivery, yes they take the old fridge away.

  • The price is still available at Harvey Norman.
