There was a short very early demo released in 2016, though I think they've changed engines since then.
They switched from Unity to Unreal Engine 4 - one of the few Kickstarters I've backed …. want now!
I'm waiting for that myself, but I think it's an indie project and like all indie KS projects, will take forever. I don't think we'll be playing it in the next 3 years. They're still very early in development.
They were amazing, genre defining games for the time - but going back to them is very difficult because of the clunkiness.
Agree with Shock 1 because the interface is soo clunky. Mod up Shock 2 and it's still awesome.
And don't forget about System Shock 3, also coming! Not sure it's this year though.
Seriously great games these but hard to get into it due to the graphics vs today's expectations.
I do remember being utterly awed by the depth in these game when I played them many moons ago.

Wow. System requirements for the remastered version have gone up from the original from what I remember. Wondering if i bother investing the $2.55 now and inevitably spend 1k to take advantage of it later on…
They are just the requirements to run Steam so you can download them…
