any idea if i buy 2. can i race together? will the frequency for the RC clash?

    • +3

They are 2.4Ghz so they should have no trouble with multiple transmitters/receivers. Of course at $11 who knows if they bothered.

how long before it runs out of range maths teacher

      • pop quiz hot shot

    • @ ozy

20km/hr = 5.4m/s so it would reach 30m in 5.5 seconds, seems pretty fast for a $10 toy… will buy 2 to add to my collection of Gearbest torches I’ve invested in ;)

      • Just pointing out the spec that mattered to me in making the decision to buy or not.
Figured others won’t have to click the link to see the range.

thanks for the vid. i was really hoping it was going to be like those drift rc cars. but it looks like it doesn't drift.

      • Ye, seems to be too zippy and skippy. Will be very hard for drifting.

Throw some talc on a tiled floor and it will drift. Or better yet put some sticky tape around the tread on the back wheels and it will be hard to keep the drift in a straight line.

Did that to my old rc car, drifted better in the ran!

Seems cheaper? I was able to use 134 points and remove insurance on shipping. Ended up being $6 used. I've never purchased anything from this site.

    • Apparently it's a sister site of Gearbest

Got this rc today, it is very fast for its size, the downside is making it very hard to control.

And the overall quality is cheappie at best.
