[PC Steam] - Tomb Raider Franchise eg TR 2013 US $2.99 and US $0.98 Per Game for TR Underworld, Anniversary, Legend etc

180

Steam Winter Sale for the entire Tomb Raider franchise
I checked ITAD for the games listed on the title and they are current lowest prices. Seems pointless to further wait for lowest price ever when the differences are about 20-40 cents.

Check out the deal link for complete list

  • Tomb Raider 2013 US $2.99
  • TR Underworld US $0.98
  • TR Anniversary US $0.98
  • TR Legend US $0.97
  • earlier games are also at US $0.97

Rise of Tomb Raider 20th Year Anni is cheaper at cdkeys.com (compared to Steam's current sale price). More so if you get the 5% off code from cdkey.com's facebook page.

Are these games any good? I haven't played Tomb Raider since Lara Croft had the best polygon assets on Playstation 1.

Legend/Anniversary/Underworld are pretty okay, although the controls haven't aged well.
      The 2013 reboot is fantastic.

Agree with this, except I didn't like 2013 and especially Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Awful and linear game with too much shooting and not enough jumping and puzzles.

        • the one with the Parisian start had pretty pretty good graphics (like a jump in graphics tech) with all the gfx option, but yea that kinda seemed pretty limited too

          havent tried ROTR yet

        • Playing 2013 atm and I am enjoying it. It is basically Uncharted though.

    • I've only played 1+2, and TR 2013 and Rise.

1+2 have not aged well and I don't recommend them.

But the latter two are pretty good, if you ignore the story, esp 2013.

Rise turned it into kind of open world, which I was not a fan of. They overloaded it with collectibles, some very difficult to find and require you to look for something glowing on the ground. And the reward is a total waste of time. Some crafting material that you're already full on. A lot of people are suckers for collectible gameplay though, so I'm probably in the minority.
