  • Online stock incorrect. Suggest calling your DJ or stopping into a store direct. Adelaide DJ in store has a shelf full of them

  • I can't see anything on the two refunds online… Am i missing something?

      • Well done, dzf

        correct me if im wrote, that seems to only be on the nespresso website if you order a certain amount of coffee with the purchase as well?

        • Was about to ask the same question, how does the DJ work with the Nespresso promotion (or does it work by proof of purchase and a reimbursement)

          @v00d00 AU:

          Fair point people!
          Yes on further inspection that seems to be the offer purchasing directly from Nespresso website.

          Ok, I think these are the appropriate other pages…

          This seems to be the correct form to redeem (Redeem claim, Track claim & FAQs links):
          https://www.nespressopromotion.com.au/YEP2017/cashback/main

          Year end promotion "YEP" T&Cs (separate to the FAQs page):

          @dzf:
          As per dzf. Can do this through any Nespresso retailer, direct or otherwise.

          On the shelf at David Jones they have the offer on full display.

          In the past : you submit your invoice (scanned copy), and serial number to get $40 back.

          Then you order $40+ of coffee pods, and get $40 off the coffee pods order. So essentially $80 back.

          Same "Bonus offer" advertised at Good Guys instore and online too (but higher base price).

          @dangerdanger:

          Thanks to @dzf and @dangerdanger. Yep looks to be the same, purchase either online or instore at DJ and fill out the form (w/ purchase details) and follow instructions (add a minimum of 60 capsules to redeem your $40 coffee order, https://www.nespresso.com/au/en/year-end-promotion)

      • oh thanks!!

    FYI just found that Harvey Norman are doing a similar discount for $336, https://www.harveynorman.com.au/delonghi-lattissima-touch-co…

  • Anyone know what the actual difference is between the older EN520 and the current EN550 in usage?

    Had a brief look, and can only see the physical difference is that milk carafe thing on current model is a bit shorter and does not top does not sit flush with the overall machine.

    Sorry, only found this thread as I comparing with a 2ndhand Lattissima machine.

      I understand there is very little difference between the EN520 and the EN550. The key change I have noted / found are the buttons on top. The EN520 has four rubber buttons whereas the EN550 has six 'touch' buttons (which is why it is now called the Lattissima touch).

      These additional buttons add a couple of extra preparation styles, but I am not 100% sure what they are.

      I am currently looking at getting one of the EN520's to replace my old machine so have been looking around for good prices. Depending on your budget, you may wish to consider getting it from one of the following places rather than buying second hand:
      - DeLonghi Factory Second (Also comes in Silver / Red)
      - Bing Lee (This appears to be eligible for the $40 cashback and $40 coffee credit, but would suggest reading closely before buying). *Note: Bing Lee have this on eBay too if you have managed to score the 10% off.

      make sure the EN520 is the 'plus' model and not the original Lattissima. that was riddled with issues (i knew 2 people that had that model, repaired 3 times each and eventually given the plus model when it came out)

    Thanks kupkes for the clarification and other suggestions!

    Have had both lattissimas (latest being the touch). They're both good.

    Milk frothers are interchangeable on both.
    Pod-tray is also interchangeable. Not sure about the water tank - useful info to know if you are replacing an old one and want to keep the parts as backups.

    Touch has an extra 'milk only' setting, which I don't use.
    Touch heats up quicker in the morning (but only by 30secs or so).

    Note - included in each new coffee machine is a sampler pack of 20 different pods. If they are expired, call or email Nespresso and they'll send you a replacement 20-pod sampler.

      The sampler only has 14 pods.
      Just bought during eBay 10% off from TGG for $335. Essentially $221 (subtracting 10% and promotion) :). Good product.

      • Ok. Thanks, 14 pods.
        $221 was a good deal!
        Maybe next time could you post your deal if you see one? It's the OzB way - benefits us all to know these deals

        • Deal was there already. One of the OzB pros mentioned it in comments. :) that's how I came to know about it.
