The eneloop crowd will be here shortly, mildly displeased with this deal.

Reported for suggesting that batteries should be disposed of in landfill.
Batteries contain heavy metals which can poison the soil and water in landfills.
They can be dropped off at Aldi, Ikea & Battery World to be recycled.

Reported for supplying chemicals to Germans.

Honestly even with the discounts, still not as cheap as their own VARTA brand which are surprisingly good and long lived. I keep two packs of VARTAs for the odd "Dad I need batteries in my xxxxx device/toy".

        Maybe he is from QLD

      • Its just toys, the x's cancel each other out.

      • I would. I wouldn't with XXX toys though.

    • Yep the Varta deal is the new benchmark I use for alkaline batteries. It doesn't have to match it or beat it (otherwise I'll be waiting a while …) but just to judge value per cell wise.
