I would say that he has done that to actually help us out.
As you can tell English is not his native language so he may be pausing to think about how he is going to say his next words so instead of umm'ing and uh'ing they just cut it out.

How much do they get paid?
That's a really good question. Depends on the department/position but a lot of them get paid more than average wage.
I'm guessing the people who were packaging the parcels get paid the least.

I remember on one of my many trips to China I showed up an hr early to visit a factory. The "factory owners" were busy swapping over the company sign. Was pretty funny and I never called them out on it. This is quite common though from what I'm told so whatever you see may or may not be true.

Not a surprise at all when 100 companies claim to be the manufacturer with only 3 factories actually producing the product. Thankfully what you see in this video is all real. No company names being switched around.

Why should I use GeekBuying over insert other grey importer here?
Here on OzBargain it normally comes down to who has the cheapest price. If I'm posting then it's always the cheapest. Sometimes GB will offer discounted or even free express shipping. Take these two deals below for example. Both are currently the lowest price and offer free express.

You're right about that. The larger online stores look after their workers much better compared to a Foxconn factory employee slaving away building iPhones.

Agree! I had a terrible experience with this company. Ordered stuff, unresponsive emails and eventually told item out of stock after 10 days. Got mucked around asking for my refund, asked to request for refund for another email but got bounced email.
Very frustrating. Will not recommend Geekbuying. Save yourself the trouble guys.
