Takes you 2000 days to upload 1TB…

      • ???

      • 200…

      • on a dial up? :)
there are no limits for how much to upload, but just the individual files size and subsequent shares with others, read again…

  • Hi Op, you should also mention the price is in USD

  • Any one have more info on this compared to Dropbox? (which is AU$11.58 / month for 1TB)

  • Advantages of using over Google Drive?

The file sharing limits are a massive disadvantage though… Makes it unusable for me.

      • Same

  • i can't even upload my linux distro with the limit :(

  • I believe that the speeds of this service are very poor. But for the price it's probably worthwhile as a secondary cloud backup solution

    I have this (1TB).
Upload times are ridiculously slow. I mean s-l-o——w.

    I would look elsewhere.

  • I will try it for my pictures and GoPro footage…
But how much for subsequent years?

  • I would stay away - their forums paint a ghastly picture for support…. e.g.
    http://forum.asuswebstorage.com/showtopic.aspx?topicid=3830&…

And if you do a quick browse through their forums it's all filled with spam…

Almost like the forum was abandoned end of 2016??

      • Yeah and yet it's still linked to off their main site (in the footer).

  • Well if you're not on broadband the Australian upload speed is hard-wired pathetic…..what is more interesting to know is what download speed you get!

That's when you see how handy it is, when you want to recover stuff.

These reviews (both old 2015/6…is this thing really being maintained or just a moneytrap??) are not flattering…no current reviews jumped out, didn't dig

I don't want to neg this deal but something just doesn't seem right with this service at a glance……money saved on insurance that don't work is really money wasted IMHO.

I prefer 5 year subscription of office 365 for $99, student only.

You get 2 office license, and 1tb of one drive.

    $20 per year.
